Cochin Heritage Home

We were 4 adults and 4 children occupying the ground floor in this charming house. The rooms were spacious and quite clean. The house itself is beautiful, lovely stone and wood pillars, and the host, Shankar, was super friendly, warm and helpful. He was helpful during our visit and in the lead up to it. The location is great, despite being only a 5-6 min walk away from the teeming centre, it is a quiet leafy area with beautiful houses. I will happily recommend this place to friends and will stay here again if I visit kochi.

Two of my friends and i spent two nights at this heritage home stay, we shared one room, and had a very comfortable time. Our visit was planned around looking at the biennial, the locations were very close to the homestay. We rented bicycles and visited almost all the galleries. ||||The room at the home stay was very well maintained, and air conditioned which was a priority for us, the help Shankar made the stay extremely comfortable and pleasant for us. We had breakfast on both the days we stayed there. Shankar was very easy to talk to and helpful with travel and food recommendations. They had a beautiful porch we spent one of our nights on. ||||I would absolutely vouch for this homestay. Because im looking forward to another pleasant visit there.

OK it was low season so automatically little more quiet BUT....||our stay was perfect. The room are very nice and stylish furnitures, AC work (even if i didn't use much), hot water, clean, value for money correct.||The breakfast is nice and the coffee good.||i'll come back at this adress in kochi next time. ||The hall and garden are nice too, peacefull place to stay.

Relaxed and quiet boutique accomodation with friendly staff and good coffee. In a quiet location away from the hussle of the tourist precinct but within an easy 5 minute walk (rickshaws always on hand). The room was very clean and comfortable and the airconditioner was a god-send. Thank you Ajit & staff for a wonderful say.

We were lucky to be the only guests and to be pampered and able to chose our room, and even to change to a quieter one when the noisy neighbors started talking loud and playing their music. It is the only drawback to this lovely place centrally located and yet relatively quiet (except for the house next door). We stayed two nights and never regretted choosing this renovated heritage house.

A very beautiful heritage home stay with a character. Location is central (5-10min walk), room was spacious and clean, air fan working all fine and a peaceful patio for a nice rest. Our a few problems were never having a hot water in shower (when we complained the staff who is a 22 year old man explained they fixed it but we still didn’t have hot water). The other issue is this staff does not understand English very well, or does not care :) We needed breakfast at 7 to leave to get to airport but he only made it ready at 7:20 despite we asked many times the evening before. He was saying yes sure, but in the morning he said he was somewhere else (either doing a morning walk or something else that wasn’t very clear to us). Basically there is a lot of nodding and yes’s but not much action :) Also the breakfast was only toast with butter-jam and fruits, so no good if you don’t have a sweet tooth. Most other places serve Indian breakfast and eggs so this one was a disappointment.|Overall the place is really nice but management needs to improve.

Nice quiet place with 4 big spotless and comfortable rooms. This is built in Kerala style with large rooms ,big veranda and clean surroundings. Close to everything but away from the noise and bustle of the town and beach. We had kerala breakfast sent to us by the owner's wife. Mr Ajit and his staff Mujeeb were of great help.

Perfect homestay for a family trip. Stayed here with my parents, they loved it. Great facilities and very helpful staff! Beautiful house with outside area in wodden style made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Room was very clean and had everything one need. Would like to come again
