Very worst experience faced with the owners and service which they provided. I stayed here for couple of days with my family. There is no basic amenities provided here. Like 1)Wifi router will be there But it won't function it 2)No hot water facilities. 3)Tv was not functioning at all 4)Foul smell Here are the difficulties 1)When I checked in I asked for wifi connectivity. The owner responded it will be fixed asap. But I keep waiting for a day it didn't fixed. Next day I keep asking the owner to fix the wifi he said it's a Sunday no one can help. I was like okay. 2)When we switch on the Hot water Tap there is no hot water coming in. I have asked the owner he have been told me wait for sometime you will be getting it.. but no luck finally there is no hot water been provided at all for both days. 3)Tv fixed in the room doesn't functioning at all. All the cable wires hasn't been set up properly Based on all those difficulty I faced. The room charges Rs 3000 per day. I have paid advance of 1000 before checkin. Post checkout after facing all this difficult I asked for a negotiation to the owner about the problem mentioned above. He been told that before checkin did I told there is a wifi/ hot water facilities in my place. I wonder and keep asking him without this basic facilities how someone can stay here for couple of days. Owner didn't negotiate the price not even a single rupee. Very much disappointed during my stay here. Worst experience faced.!!

I had an amazing stay at Meenakshi River Villa. The hosts are very hospitable. Divya is always available to help and very nice peaceful and friendly place. My room was excellent, clean and the view from the terrace balcony amazing. Food is delicious and I highly recommend this place.

Beautiful home and very friendly hospitable family! We wished our stay was longer than just two nights. We did both complementary breakfast as well as dinner and the food was very good. Cold A/C, hot water for bathing, and a gorgeous view especially at sunset.

The hosts are wonderful and the place is clean, modern and very nicely appointed. The complementary breakfast was delicious and filling and we really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend this place and stay more than just the one night we had time for.

This is a lovely home, great tile work, balcony, and always clean. The family is very nice and helpful, giving trip ideas and directions at the visitor's request. Their cooking is delicious and has nice variety. Complimentary breakfast is either continental or Indian at your choice. We also had dinner there twice, very tasty and more than reasonably priced.

The place is fantastic and the hosts are very warm and welcoming. The rooms are very neat and definitely worth paying the price. The food was splendid and they prepare any kind of food you request. The place is right in front of the backwaters and the boats come and pick you up directly in front of the property. Lovely family and very helpful. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone who visits Kumarakom.
