Periyar seven hills

We stayed there in month of Jan, 15, a group of 13 people. The rooms very spacious and neat n clean. Owner Raja was very cooperative. Although we reach there at midnight they were happy to serve us. If you are looking for a economical stay its the best place. Its a quite place. Dinning area very lovely.

A homely stay at kumuly. A well designed resort best for couples. They've friendly staff who treat you right. The restrooms are ok. It is a bit of an old property but it has its own charm. Car parking is just the right amount.

Though it is a homstay, but excellent facilities for staying. It has large specious, neet and clean rooms in reasonable price. 4 persons can be accomodated in room. The only minus point is that it is inside a residencial area with narrow road, but 4 wheelrs can go and park easily. I suggest to try it. |

It wasn't a nice stay at all ! |The room was dirty with old sheets and blankets. |The owner don't care at all about his guests and he just says thank you when we gave him his 1200 roupies.|And our night was noisy with a screaming dog and tuk tuks all the night in his courtyard.|If you have the choise, choose an another place (The jungle view was great)|||||

I paid 1200/per night but the rooms were horrible. very old blankets. stinky towels, small portable TV , no room services. The owners were horrible. They were not kind, they were demanding . I have never seen a couple being so rigid.. Total Terrific experience.

We stay here last week with family. Very good atmosphere calm and quiet. Restaurant providing good food and good service. We highly recommended this place for tourist. The place near the forest so you can watch wild animals also.|

Worst. Manager behavior is very rude and no respect to customers. No facility. I visited last week and bathroom tap was not working. No hot water. Even manager did not provided towels to us. It's almost 2 kms inside main road where in no shop or basic necessities available nearby. Really pathetic experience.

I would rater the homestay at Periyar Seven Hills as overall average. The following are the observations:-|Pros:-|(i) The environment is quite calm and serene;|(ii) Breakfast provided was on payment basis, but was good|(iii) warm water facility was there.|(iv) Mr Raja, the owner was very friendly and could arrange Jungle safari for us|Cons:-|(i) The bed was not very comfortable (Foam mattress), the bedsheet needs to be renewed;|(ii) No provision of Internet or WiFi;|(iii) Cable TV had majorly Regional channels with nil English and two Hindi Channels|(iv) Location of property is very interior to the city with narrow lanes.||Overall, an average site, recommended for one night stay.
