Breezehouse Homestay Varkala

We stayed with family. Amazing stay amazing place and amazing host who took care of things pretty well. Breakfast was included. Dinner and lunch was prepared based on our request. Must try fish fry and fish curry for non vegetarian and vegetable sambar for vegetarians. Prices are pretty normal for the amazing food we get and the hospitality is top notch. We never could find any drawback staying in this place. Most recommended place for stay and food and leisure vacation.

Excellent rooms with amazing beach view. The hosts were the best! They took good care of us, especially our toddler. The food is exquisite. Home-cooked meals that we all loved. They made special accomodations for us vegetarians. The place is just 200 meters from the beach. The beach is sparsely crowded so it almost felt like a private beach. Very near from the railway station too.

This stay was nothing short of perfect. I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful beachfront property, and it exceeded all of my expectations. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, offering all the comforts needed for a relaxing stay.The real standout was the beach views from the room, which made the stay even more memorable and enjoyable. The owners go above and beyond with their hospitality, making guests feel genuinely cared for and ensuring a personalized experience. We had Appam for breakfast, we tried for the first time, served with vegetable stew curry. The combination was incredibly tasty, making it a highlight of our stay.

Date of stay: 30.10.2024 We had a satisfying experience with our stay at Breeze House Varkala. * This homestay is located at close proximity to the beach. For the adventurous, one may try paragliding at this beach. * The room and toilet were clean & spacious. Warm water is available in the bathroom. * The Homestay owners, a mother and daughter team, are excellent hosts. They provided tasty homemade meals for breakfast and dinner at reasonable prices. * Varkala cliff is located 3 KMS away from this homestay. All in all, an excellent place for stay.

A very budget friendly stay on the South Cliff... Booked 2 rooms for my family of 6. The rooms were clean and well kept. We recieved the sea view room from which you can get a view of the Aaliyirakam beach. One of the rooms had slight issues with the AC but the owner Manju quickly resolved it for us. They were very responsive. Helped us to get cab service. The complementary breakfast provided was really tasty and fulfilling. The mother-daughter duo were so humble and friendly. This stay is perfect for family and female travellers who are looking for a budget friendly option.

This was our first time in Varkala and we chose this homestay for our 3 days. Reviews are of course open to perception,  here's ours Location: Excellent ..... its located just below the south cliff and a mere two hundred Meters from the beach. The beach itself is secluded, hence feels like a private one.  This is important, if you are staying in hotels on the cliff. Everytime you want beach access you have to climb so many steps. Its way easy here Accommodations: Its a humble house with big, neat & clean comfortable rooms ,  all facing the beach. Food: Simply Wow, Aunty cooked us some amazing meals, from breakfast to dinner. so much so that we preferred eating here than the cafes, they dont store stuff,  instead, as you want , they bring it and cook if fresh. Try the Fish fry & Beef fry semi gravy which was simply brilliant Hospitality - Manju and her family ,This is their strongest suite, I would say. From the day we arrived they took care of us like a family.  This appealed to us specially on account of our daughter.  From arranging our transport everywhere to ensuring that our stay is as comfortable as possible,  they took the first steps and gave a personal touch to everything.  Everywhere we went we always felt that we have a safe home to come back to.  This vacation, to us, felt like coming to a close relative house as opposed to a hotel. Conclusion: They claim that breezehouse is the best homestay in Varkala.  We couldn't agree more and highly recommend it.  Thank you very much.  (Special thanks to Auntie again for the wonderful food)
