Bliss on the bay

The overall experience of staying her was great! The owner is a really genuine and helping kind of person! We had a good time staying here. They also served home cooked food which was simple but delicious. The rooms were clean and spacious with continuous water supply and air conditioning! Overall we loved our stay here.

Celebrated New Year's at this place and I must say this exceeded expectations in every way. The staff specially Mr Rajesh catered to our requirements with the utmost courtesy. The breakfast served is also very scrumptious. The beach is walking distance and the property justifies it's name bliss on the beach. A truly enjoyable stay made even better by the polite and hospitable staff.

Super clean and fresh room! The aircon worked well. It is super close to the beach, and the owner is very accomodating. We really enjoyed our stay. Only cons: no hot water (which is okay, because it is warm outside), and it is a bit away from the town so you need a scooter. But this is not a problem either, if you like it a bit more quiet.

Place is super clean and quiet surrounded by nature; the staff extremely friendly and helpful. One morning we had home-made Indian breakfast at the guesthouse and it was delicious! The place is walking distance to Varkala South Beach, which is a quiet beach spot under the cliff. Also, easy walk to Varkala’s Temple Road, where there are many cafes and restaurants. Highly recommended!

This place is a pure bliss. Located just 5 minutes away from the beautiful beach in Varkala. This would be a great option for people looking for a perfect homestay around the area. Property is very clean and hygienic. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend the place for couples looking for a perfect stay option. Overall a great stay experience.

I spent 4 nights here and as a woman solo travel I felt super safe. Rajesh and his brother have been very helpful and they always made sure that my stay was comfortable. My room was spacious and clean, the location is just perfect, 5 min walk to the beach but away from the chaos so you can have nice and quiet evenings. Nearby you can find many places where to eat, also some delicious local Kerala's food. Last but not least the wifi works great! I would definitely recommend this place :)

Good size rooms, clean & bright. Good bathroom, very clean. Clean sheets on the bed and towels were also new and clean and the staff were welcoming and helpful. The pillows are also fresh & new. The location is close to the beach but to access the beach you must walk down a cliff area so be prepared but it’s worth it when you reach the bottom. Sri Janardanaswamy Temple is walking distance (7/10mins). If you’re a keen walker then this place is a great location as it’s tucked away in a quiet spot but you can still walk 20/30mins to the busy areas. If you prefer taking a Rickshaw then you can find one if you walk 5/7mins around the corner to South Cliff auto stand. Costs around 150Rs to reach the busy area of Varkala Cliff which I also enjoyed and the views are spectacular. The owner was helpful and polite and they have a common kitchen area and dining table which you can use. There is an upscale cafe nearby. Good value. The rooms could benefit from a few hooks to hang clothes but overall a good stay.
