Kashyap Kunj

Beautiful home-stay with cosy rooms. The owners were very kind and approachable. Rooms were quite big, with extra bed for children. Food preference was considered and always served fresh and warm. If you are looking for a pure vegetarian home stay with clean rooms, this is the best place in Sikkim.

I had stayed in Kashyap Kunj for 3 nights during last week of May'22 and below is my experience, hope it would help other travelers The stay was very comfortable. The hosts are gem of persons, thorough professionals and very passionate about their work /hosting & taking care of guests. The place is in the heart of Gangtok, but to be noted, that entire Sikkim is on mountains and roads are undulating, so as the property, for normal travellers taking a walk from the property might be a challenge but it will be interesting for the adventurists; the homestay has got a travel desk in its premises to take care of guests travel needs in Sikkim. The premises are very neat and clean, Rooms are very spacious, well decorated, and with full of ventilation. Rooms are equipped with large king/queen size beds, also each room has separate sing bed. The property has a provision to serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Trust me the food is "beyond delicious", it will remind you of your mom. Most importantly, the hosts make a point to interact with every possible guest and ensure that their stay is comfortable on day to day basis. I have been a frequent traveler for past 15 years, my Kashyap Kunj experience remains one of the best in all aspects. Last but not least, even the staff @ Kashyap Kunj leave no stone unturned to ensure the guests are comfortable and memorable experience at their place. Wish you all the Very Best Kashyap Kunj. It was a nice, warm and memorable stay at Kashyap Kunj. We were a group of 8 members and each one of us was impressed with this place. The property is designed beautifully with different colours to each room and every room is quite spacious including the washroom area. The living area and dining area is equally beautiful. Also, the owner of the property; Ms. Reshma offered us a very warm hospitality which made us feel like home. The staff are courteous and helpful and we were allowed to use kitchen for the kids food which is really appreciated. The food offered was quite homely with blend of local taste. Would definitely recommend this place for the stay at Gangtok.

Visited with my family. Had very nice experience here. Food is just like home. Rooms are neat and clean. Owner is very helpful she arranged birthday cake for my daughter on my request. View for balcony is amazing. Will recommend those want to experience homely feel.

This has been one of the best stay for me with my family at Gangtok. The rooms are very specious, clean and very neat. more than that the Host is very good, they have treated us like,we are their family members.staffs at the homestay are very polite.The food was homely & excellent,prepared fresh time to time. we had booked it for a day, after staying there for the first day , we extended our stay there itself for the remaining four days of our Gangtok Trip. accommodation is in calm and quiet area with panoramic view of hills from the window, just 10 to 15 mins to the city. my family members had liked the stay here. I would definately recommend the stay here.

A very nice comfy, relaxing place especially for large group to stay. The staff just like the owners is very courteous, sweet & true to the word "hospitable". Also the food served is simply delicious and heartwarming. The place itself feels like a pious place like a temple.

Excellent hospitality, very good owner. Homely cooked food. Location is little difficult to reach but is not much of an issue. I would recommend it to anybody looking for homestay. We booked it for 3 nights and really loved the stay. Kids literally had the full house to play. They were treated with warmth and love. Reshma was proactive in asking us if we needed dinner etc

Comfortable and Pleasant Stay at Kashyap Kunj! It had been a wonderful stay for three days (during June month of 2022) in Kashyap Kunj, Gangtok. I was not aware of the fact that this is a Homestay before going there but after reaching there I realized the warmness of the host couple. Aesthetically designed and decorated this home is a true ‘Home Away from Your Home’. Extremely delicious homely vegetarian food does not let the guests miss their own kitchen. Moreover, the two ladies who look after the all nitty-gritty of the homestay are so cultured and humble that you don’t feel yourself, strangers. The cleanliness of beds, bedsheets, and toilets is equal to any other good hotel. I would love to stay here again and recommend it to other tourists too. Prof. Dev Vrat Singh, Ranchi
