Green Tara Homestay

We had a wonderful time in green tara homestay in December 2019. Best ever! Home away from home!. Sanjay and his family are very friendly and lovely people. We loved everything about this homestay. Comfortable bed, spotless bathroom and amazing and tasty home cooked food. The rooms are beautifully decorated and cozy. A Small shop is attached to this homestay lobby where you can get all sort of eatables, stationery things, gift items.. Location of the home stay is very good and you will get nice view in the morning from balcony. If I ever come to Gangtok,Sikkim I will stay there only.Love the place.. Book it without any second thought if you find it available.. Highly Recommended..

We had a wonderful time spend at Green Tara Homestay on 0ctober 2022. Excellent rooms & service. All rooms were nice decorated, cozy, clean and beautiful lighted. It had comfortable bed, spotless bathroom with geyser also a beautiful kitchen with all essential utensils. The view of one side hill looks wonderful from the rooms and open corridor. The owner of this property Mr.Sanjayji is a nice guy and also helpful. .

Rooms are cozy and clean, with multiple room variants available on the first and second floors. A facility manager is always available to help with checkout, food, and other guest queries. The view from the rooms and open corridor are obstructed by buildings, with a view of the adjoining hill on one side. Transportation from the place is easily accessible through a taxi stand within a minutes walk.

I am in love with this homestay. This is incredibly awesome. Mr. Sanjay owner is very helpful person. This property is just look like 3 star hotel. Little bit issue of power backup but thats not a big issue. But make sure if you use kitchen and cutlery than please wash that after use. Overall a good experiance we have in this homestay.

The stay is really comforting & accomodating. All the rooms were clean & beautifully lighted. The location is well connected with local taxi stand & general stores. Sanjay as a Host is really a gem of a person. He can help you with all possible arrangements of Local Tour & Can services.

We stayed here in a apartment having two bedroom, small kitchen with all amenities and one wash room. We loved this as we can prepare breakfast🍳☕🍞 daily. The only drawback was daily house keeping was not done. Location is so down that one has to hire a taxi to go anywhere and in a congested area. But the independence it gives is better than hotel room. Thanks to Sanjay for our comfortable stay.

Nice place to stay in Gangtok. Around 2 kms from MG Mall Road need to take taxi . Cooperative taxi stand is 100 feet distance from the stay .Taxi costs around Rs 150/- Rooms are clean and neat, complimentary heater is also provided. Hospitality and services are good. Mona aunty is helpful she helped in providing the breakfast. Home food tastes good and must try one Grocery shops are available at walkable distance One of the Recommended stay in Gangtok

First of all the place is really good...the location is 3km away from M.G road but taxi stand is just down the residence and many shops are also available in the location. The kitchen in the stay is good and has all the essential utensils. The owner sanjay is a really nice guy and goes out of his way to help, He helped us a lot not only related to the homestay but also for rest of our tour in sikkim from arranging taxi to recommending hotels in other places, really an amazing guy!....If you are searching a place to stay in gangtok you can definitely go for it!
