Zuluk Hidden Paradise

I was impressed by the staff's hospitality. The food is of good quality, and breakfast includes bed tea and a proper meal. The view from the property is amazing, but there was an issue with electricity (power cut), which is common in hilly areas. However, there is an inverter available, so powercut is not a major concern. The approach road is not good still I strongly suggest this homestay and would also like to return.

First of all, the resort's approach road is awful. However, I was pleased with the staff's hospitality. The food is of good quality and quantity, and the staff gladly serves good food in a place where it can be difficult to find food. The staff is also very kind; when my shoe got wet from the rain, they quickly gave me slippers, bed tea in the morning, and a hearty breakfast. I would really suggest this homestay and would like to return.

We stayed here for 2 days and we had an unforgettable experience. It’s a cutesy corner located in Zuluk. For a pretty reasonable price we were presented with good lodging and amazing food. The views it offered were breathtaking. A perfect getaway from a mundane city life. The hosts were amiable. They provided tea, breakfast, lunch, evening tea and dinner. All included in the package. We had good conversations with them, and we found out interesting things about the place’s history and wildlife. It is pretty difficult to find proper network here. You can definitely make phone calls. This is not suitable for a work-ation. Special mention to the tremendous efforts the hosts have put into growing succulents and flowers in such cold weather. They decorated the whole place with them. As a fellow plant lover I understand how finicky the house plants can be. People in general are very polite here. It goes without saying for all of Sikkim.

This is such a lovely stay....the people are so courteous and the food, it all homemade and delicious. It has all the basic necessities and you will absolutely love the drive from gangtok to zuluk. Do not miss the morning sunrise... Also spend some time with Mr. Pradhan, that man is a treasure trove of history. The history he told us was just eye opening. Take in the place, talk to the people, disconnect..I would definitely stay here again.

Had a wonderful experience at Zuluk Hidden Paradise in November 2024. Suraj ji is an excellent host along with his wife and brother. He shared the history of Zuluk and Silk Route in great detail which made our trip all the more special. Wonderful hospitality, very good yummy food and always cheerful and helpful in my opinion they are the best homestay in Zuluk!

Sitting between mountains with a spectacular sunset to view, it is a place rightfully named as a hidden paradise due rough and rugged roads. A place to hike and bike and exploring the villages.

First of all this is not at all any resort, but only a homestay. Now coming to the review of this home stay. Me and my husband stayed here for one night during our silk route tour. The rooms are spacious and washroom clean with hot water running. This could have been a very good staying option at Zuluk but thanks to the staff and management this turned out to be an absolute night mare. ||1. Service is as poor as it can be and you will be required to go out of the room in the bitter cold and ask them for every small thing. Just to ask for a soap you need to go and call them multiple times.||2. Room heater is not available after 10 PM. They provided a heater around 6.30 PM which went on and off due to power outages and the heater was taken away at 10 PM. in that bitter cold we had to shiver whole night. The heater was also of very low quality.||3. Food taste was horrible. Quantity was in adequate. They provided chicken curry in dinner with 4 rotis each and the quantity of the curry was for 2 chapatis only. Sabji was not provided to my husband.||4. Zero Hygiene. The serving plates were shabby and not cleaned. Bed sheet was not clean. Towel was horrible.||5. The behaviour of the owner was very rude. They were delaying the breakfast unnecessarily. We were in a. hurry to leave towards Gangtok and asked them a couple of times to provide breakfast at 8 AM. After couple of requests they behaved rudely. The breakfast ultimately provided was also horrible.||Please DO NOT Come to this homestay. Book this only if you want to disturb your health and ruin your trip.
