Yaal home stay

The stay was awesome! We felt very safe, and the hosts were incredibly kind. They provided all the necessary facilities and treated us like family. It is the best, safest, and most fantastic stay for couples!

Great stay in kodaikanal at affordable price, we stayed for 3 days it was a pleasant experience well maintained room & good services, silent and calm environment, Will stay for sure if next time visiting kodaikanal. Pleasant on-boarding experience and booking were very smooth, And affordable and homely foods also available. Don't ever worry rooms were so neat & clean.

Had parking facility for three cars. Water heater available. Rooms were clean. A small hall with tv available. Neat and clean bathrooms. Nearby restaurants are there. Camp fire can be arranged at the backyard and the place was good too. Hospitality was too good. Overall excellent stay 👍

We chose this place because of its high ranking on google (4.8 stars) and booked it through booking.com. The owner asked us to pay them 500rs in advance and then asked me to cancel the booking and to not worry. I, naively, cancelled the booking on booking.com assuming we would still get a room in Yaal homestay. This was not the case, apparently the owner had tried to communicate that he would put us in a different homestay (partly my fault i didnt understand from their messages, partly theirs for being super unclear). The other homestay (their friends), 'Star Villa' (3.8 star reviews, too high if you ask me), was damp, smelly, mouldy, the shower did not work, had stains on the sheets and it looked as if no one had stayed there in years. I still had to pay the same amount as I would have for Yaal homestay. It is not easy sometimes to find a nice, clean, budget friendly place to stay in India, especially on new years eve, so this was a real bummer for our trip and not a nice way to enter 2025.

I stayed with my family in yaal homestay at kodaikanal during new year vacation, it was really comfortable spacious rooms, through out this vacation tour i stayed, to be honest the room and bathroom was neat and clean, i suggest them to maintain the same, the budget was also comfortable and worth for the money paid,,the only thing is restaurants were 300 to 400 meters away from the stay

I stayed with my friends, it's kind of a memorable experience with those people's from yaal home stay.. I like their hospitality, especially their food,they are serving home made food. It's simply awesome, i loved their dhosa..Their fire camp experience felt a new experience with those people's. Especially their rooms are very neat and tidy.. those guys are very friendly and also very reasonable with their accommodation fee..i recommended yaal home for everyone to make their own experience...
