Sri SAI HOME,MISTY MOUNTAIN ,KODAIKANAL

We a group of 25 people including 10+ kids stayed at this place from 31st Oct to Nov 2nd 2024. The experience was bad to say the least. The place have good infrastructure but the service was inadequate. There was one caretaker who did his very best to cater to our needs but a single person is not enough to manage this. The food was served from a nearby local stall and options were less. Though the breakfast can be termed good, the dinner and other items which included chicken BBQ (burnt) was bad. The price that was charged for this was exorbitant. Location is not good as there is no view from the villa. Also the place is on top of a hill after a steep climb (novice drivers will face issues). There are not many shops or facilities nearby. Though the town is only 4-5kms away, the steep climb and location deters you from venturing outside. The worst part was the kitchen. There was no oven or fridge or stove of any kind. Food that was delivered from the nearby place was cold by the time it reached the villa and we had no option to reheat it. And kitchen was right next to the hall without a door. The smell of the dirty plates and waste bin would reach the hall easily. Lastly the power backup. There was no backup when there was a power failure on our first day. The second day somehow the power backup was there but the heater didn't work. We had to do a late checkout since we couldn't freshen up on time (and had to keep the next guests waiting). In summary, a property with good infrastructure but badly managed.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sai Misty Homes, and it truly exceeded all expectations. The villa has elegantly furnished bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom. Whether you enjoy a gourmet meal, or explore the surrounding area, this villa offers it all. It’s a perfect choice for a team outing, family vacation, a romantic getaway, or even a special event. I wholeheartedly recommend this Villa to everyone who needs a safe and peaceful environment.

We went as a gang of 25 members very nice place to stay, relax . Property was very well maintained and rooms very clean. Enough furniture available in the room and also each room has a balcony to sit and Relax. Every room has individual attached bathroom with heater. Rahul was so good he answered for all our doubts without any hesitation he helped lot throughout the stay. DJ and campfire was awesome . Babu care taker was very polite he took care very well. Food was good tasted like homely food. Awesome place .Must recommended place to Stay....!!!!☺️ Had a good pleasant stay

We are a group of 17 bike riders from hyderabad and has booked this stay for a night, The place has the following plus Pros - - Huge open space - Good luggage space - Separate Campfire space - Caretaker - RO water (no plastic 1 litre pr 500 ml bottles allowed) - Food will be cooked by the caretaker (Please give clear instructions as per your taste) - 8 BHK (every room has a separate entry) - Attached washrooms for all bedrooms, - The villa is located at a very good location (second highest point in kodaikanal) Cons - - Campfire is chargeable - Only space for one SUV or one sedan car - Extra food is chargeable (can be customised as per need) Rooms - 5/5 Care taker - 4.5/5 Security - 4/5 Food - 4/5 Location - 4/5 Overall - 4/5

We recently stayed here with a group of 13 friends for a reunion, and it was an unforgettable experience! Meeting after a long time, we wanted a place that could accommodate all of us comfortably, and this property exceeded our expectations. With 8 spacious bedrooms, a huge hall, the setup was perfect for a large group gathering. One of the highlights of our stay was the beautiful campfire area. The ambiance was just right with a good lighting setup and an additional speaker provided by the resort. It created the perfect setting for reminiscing old memories and making new ones. The resort’s location is ideal—very close to the central point of Kodaikanal Lake, making it easily accessible. The service throughout our stay was exceptional. The food options were varied, and everything we ordered was delicious and reasonably priced. Special thanks to Rahul for ensuring we had such a wonderful stay and for taking care of all the arrangements. We’re already looking forward to visiting again soon!

Our stay at Sri Sai Homes ,Misty Mountain 8-bedroom bungalow in Kodaikanal was nothing short of incredible..The property was spacious, immaculately clean, & beautifully designed, making it perfect for our large family gathering…Each bedroom was cozy & well-equipped, offering plenty of privacy & comfort…The common areas, including the living room & dining space, were ideal for spending quality time together..Spl Mention fr Bonfire & DJ. The host Mr Sasikumar /Ragul were exceptionally hospitable & ensured we had everything we needed for a memorable stay. This bungalow truly felt like a home away from home & we can’t wait to visit again 😇

We reached this place on 31Oct2024. They provide 2 toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo and 1 towel. Standard rooms have a TV. Geyser is available but we face power cuts during the time of checkout and could not leave the villa as per our plan. Our Room has a bedsheet, blanket, chairs, table and almirah. Maintenance was not done during our stay. The kitchen doesn't have a fridge, microwave, induction or stove for heating/reheating purposes. The RO water purifier looks dirty. We bought water bottles from the nearby shop. There is a caretaker who is helpful in arranging food and setting up BBQ and campfire. There is no separate cook, the same caretaker will arrange food from the outside mess (Siva hotel and Raja hotel). Food will be cold while transferring it from mess to the villa and there is no option to reheat. BBQ also they prepare and transfer to villa and will be cold during the time of serving. There is no on-site BBQ setup. If anything we want to order, we need to inform the caretaker in advance as the hotels nearby will be closed by 9-10 pm. Location - 2 star Villa - 3 star Service - 2 star Geyser - Available but expect power cut. Induction, microwave, fridge - not available. Nearby hotels - very less. Swiggy, Zomato - delivery available, but depends on food availability.

We have had wonderful time, DJ and audio was wonderful with bonfire, Every room and complete villa is worth every penny, Bath tub gave different experiences 🫣 Swing chair was with fresh air on air 🩵 Overall total experience 200 out of 100🩵
