Ruban House (Homestay)

A few cons: •The path to the house is quite an adventure..as people have to climb unsteady paths.There were no complete steps and the path was slippery.Therefore, carrying a large amount of luggage would be quite a problem. •There are windows which had curtains missing,making it difficult for us to take a bath or sleep comfortably or privately. •Service was not that frequent and hard to reach. •Sometimes,the geyser would not work even if it has been turned on for more than 5 hours. A few pros: •The rooms were very spacious and clean. •There were three rooms,with 2 beds in two rooms upstairs and one bed in the first floor. •There were three toilet-attached bathrooms,with a shower head and geyser.Soap,bucket and mug was also provided. •Water was clean and available 24/7.Food was hygienic and very tasty. •View from the window as well as from the verandah was beautiful. •There is a campfire also available,which made the rooms warm and cosy. Overall,it was a wonderful experience.Me and my friends had a wonderful time in the house,and it also made a long hectic day feel less tiring at the end of the day,as it delivered the feeling of hospitality and the warmth and comfort of a home.

This is one of the good home stays.. very nice experience.. the host is super good, very helpful and was very sweet.. 5 stars for his hospitality.. Food is amazing and home made.. tastes super good.. from breakfast to lunch and dinner we are here only.. they make it fresh hot and tasty.. host was very helpful from buying anything we want from and served us without hesitation always with a smile.. 4 stars for the rooms.. rooms are pretty decent with attached baths and beds.. don't expect a posh stay.. it's decent and clean.. the host cleans the house, kitchen and toilets from time to time.. It will definitely be comfortable.. 5 stars for the view.. view from the room and sit out is amazing.. out of the world.. a surreal view.. I have added the pics.. don't miss the sunrise.. Only negetive is that you will have to take a short Trek uphill to reach the house.. that might be difficult for old or fat people or during night.. the host helps you here also by taking our bags up and down.. Cost is also very nominal.. charges for the good food they served is much lesser.. Definitely a blissful, calming, pocket friendly stay.. Highly Recommend for friends, couples.

Great place to hangout with friends... the view at here is more enough than around the city...and Ruban's service is great.

Only the view from this place & politeness of the host are two things which I can speak positive about. Otherwise the room was very poorly maintained. The room & beds were not even clean when we went. The bathroom was also not that clean. We had to ask the host to get the things cleaned. I wouldn't recommend the place at all.

Very nice experience in the hilltop with a nice hills view and expecially the property owner is a very good soul he served us lunch and dinner was so good.
