Little Shola cottage

We a 11 members stayed in the cottage. What a wonderful place it was. The rooms were nearly organised. Toilets were extremely clean. We stayed there for three days. All the rooms had a posh beds, carpets. All the three days the breakfast was complementary. Mr. Purushothaman Ram the owner of the cottage received us so well. We have ordered dinner for all the three days and the food was amazing as if we were eating at home. The scenery of the cottage add value to the stay. As it was near to the bus stand we can able to reach and plan all the spot to get visited. I vouch for the cleanly, comfort and luxurious stay here.

I had an awful experience staying at this place with my 11 friends for 2 days. We booked a 4-bedroom house for 26,000 rupees, plus an additional 1500 for a campfire. But the service was absolutely terrible! No room heaters, no kettle, and they didn't even provide basic drinking water. On top of that, there was no parking available, and we had to park our vehicle 150 meters away in a dark, risky area. They promised us complimentary breakfast for both days, but on the second day, they claimed their cook wasn’t available and we got nothing. When we asked for compensation, the owner, Purusothaman, promised us 1000 rupees, which was far less than we deserved. However, he’s been completely ignoring us since then. We’ve been calling him daily, but he’s rude and won’t even pick up the phone. It’s been a total disappointment, especially considering the huge amount we paid for this stay. Stay away from this place!

We had really bad experience. When we book the hotel for two day. They promised us two days breakfast as a complementary. But when we ask for it they turn it down to one day. But they didn't even gave that one day. Morning they mention like the cook is not available they will return the breakfast cost of 1000rs. But they didn't gave that money when we checkout they said we will give that amount shortly even after following up for more than a week. They didn't gave that amount yet. When we ask for it they said they didn't have that 1000 rs. Every bad way of handling quest. They didn't have a parking at all. They ask us to park our vehicle near the road which is not safe. Even at night we encounter an inside where police came inside our room at mid night for check which is very bad even we didn't do anything wrong but face all this but they not even ready to gave the breakfast they promised. Please don't visit this one. We had a very bad experience

The stay was really good, the rooms are clean and hygiene. The view from the house is really beautiful. At night there'd be bonfire if there's no rain which is even beautiful. Wonderful experience. The host was understanding enough to give some buffer time during checkout. Perfect choice no doubt !

Very worst service I have ever seen in Ooty stay. Please DO NOT BOOK. They have said some reason and shifted us to other normal stay, the reason was understandable. But after that they have not given proper response once after all the payment is done. We literally called him more than 15times for firecamp arrangement and speaker but he was keep on cutting. Very worst and they are not promising

Great experience with my family here at Little Shola cottage. Even though its almost a 100 years old the rooms and bathrooms are freshly renovated and in great condition. The house is conveniently close to all the major attractions. Very homely and authentic food and moreover a very kind host ready to help out at anytime. Will recommend for anyone looking for a friendly experience in Ooty.

Extremely disappointed with this stay. The house was poorly maintained, with dirty bathrooms and unclean linens. The Wi-Fi didn’t work, and the TV had no signal, no water heater. The owner was unhelpful and showed no interest in resolving issues. Waste of money, definitely not worth the price! Would never recommend.
