Crystal LakeView Homestay

It is an amazing place to stay near the lake. A mesmerizing view of Bhimtal is available from the room as well as from the balcony. Rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained. The host is a nice person. The quality of food is awesome and their service is excellent. Car can be hired from here for local sight seeing. We really had a great time with family at this place.

We stayed on here for 2 days. This owner of the place is professional and provide required details. Overall it's a real good option in this budget. Rooms are of decent size and clean. There were electricity issues during our stay. If you're closing on to book this place, I recommend 1st floor , lake facing room (101 & 102 when we stayed ) as they provide a big personal balcony. They have a really good view from the balcony, with lake right in front. Food is decent and in case you don't want to go out you can choose to order from the kitchen. We didn't get the breakfast in the package but we got an option to order it through Ala karte which was also good and reasonable Rooms - 4/5 Washroom - 3/5 Spacious - 3.5/5 View - 4/5 Budget - ₹₹ Value for money - 3.5/5

I stayed here with my family a week back ...It is an amazing place to stay . The view from hotel is very beautiful. Plus the place is very peaceful. The room service is great . Food was also very nice .The staff is very cooperative and polite.

The first & foremost thing we liked about this hotel was its lake facing view. Our host ( Mr Anubhav Gupta ), who is the manager here, is very decent and soft spoken. His way of taking care his guests is praiseworthy. The rooms are neat and clean. Food is also quite nice here and with reasonable price.

Although it is a boutique hotel without any pomp and show, it is a hidden gem within the beautiful environs of Bhimtal. The USP of this hotel is it is among few hotels in Bhimtal which are lake facing and offer splendid views of the lake and the hamlet from its large sit out area in front of the rooms. The Hotel has total of 7 rooms which all are equipped with modern facilities. There has been change of ownership recently at this hotel and the new Management has taken all the pains to convert it into a brilliant property to serve its customers.||Had the opportunity to be company with Mr. Shyam Gupta who is the owner of this hotel and it was nice talking to him early morning every day while having tea and reading newspaper.||We booked two rooms on the first floor which have a large verandah in the front that overlooks the lake. The hotel itself is within walking distance from the Boat jetty area and other sightseeing attractions.||The furnishings are clean, Bed comfy and the washrooms are clean. Linen provided was of good quality.||But the best part was the food served. Hotel has its own kitchen on the second floor where cook Mr. Govind prepares excellent dishes. Dishes were always cooked on demand and served fresh. The food was home like and made our stay more memorable.||Overall, the hotel still retains the old world charm of a typical Kumaoni feel and shies away from the more flashy hotels which have cropped up in vicinity.||Full marks to the Management for maintaining and upgrading such beautiful property in a good boutique hotel. Will definitely visit again.

We booked the hotel at last minute and gave some advance but due to some reasons we were not able to stay. The staff was really perceptive about it and provide us the refund without any hassel. Like to praise their undertanding and calmness about the situation.

I was searching for some value for money hotel nearby the lake, encountered with this hotel with tariff of 1.7k / day for non lake view room and 2k including breakfast, the lake view costs additional 1k with some more space. The non lake view rooms are bit small but cozy in cooler environment. The room was decent with basic amenities, the food was nice but you need to order well in time. The food portion was ok but the prices were somewhat on a higher side & the basic presentation skills of food was absent. The complimentary breakfast has a limited order quantum. The behavior of staff found to be nyc.

My experience was fantastic. The staff was extremely friendly and the owner was also lovely. We also tried the food provided by the hotel and it was fantastic. The view was mesmerizing from our room. All in all it was a great experience for me and my family at Crystal Lakeview. Highly recommended!!!!
