Calm and cosy rooms with great view of Bhimtal lake. There is ample green cover surrounding the property, but does not cover the lake view. Nice garden and terrace with many bird species coming for mango flowers. Owners are humble and caretaker provides good service. Food is cooked fresh as per order and is tasty. Sometimes there is delay if multiple orders are received at once. Stayed for 3 days with family of 9 with kids below 4 years. Food for kids also made on order. Approach road is little steep.

Its the best homestay one can look for. Has a beautiful greenery setting in its lawns with a view of Bhimtal lake. The services are also good and for anyone looking for a place out of city comforts, come here.

I was looking for homestay to relax in hill station with less crowded and fortunately got reference of Talkot Homestay from one of my friend. I must say that its value for money coz my wife had chance to click pics of few beautiful birds which is very rare to spot. Room was good and food was also good. Best part was staff and their service. It was great experience to stay there and can't forget great hospitality from owner and his family. We visited as a guest but returned with good memories. Many people said no reason to stay for 7 days in Bhimtal but we utilized each days visiting nearby places like Kainchi Dham, Nainital, Naukichiatal. Infact you can plan to Mukteshwar Mahadev temple as well.

It was a wonderful stay. The location is perfect! It's quiet and yet has a great view of the lake. The staff is very friendly and cooperative. Food was freshly cooked and tasted delicious! The owners are very nice people themselves. It was an absolute delight to stay at this property.

Location is great.. This seems to be a newly developed property so furnishing is good. However, the staff needs some training vis a vis maintenance. The washroom was pretty dirty and it was clear that it was not cleaned since the last visitor. The bedsheet has hair and lot of dust.. Again not cleaned since the last booking. Otherwise the staff was courteous and quick to deliver what is asked. Food was freshly prepared and above average. This property will do good if they look after the hygiene factors.

I booked 2 Delux room on 25-26June 2024 after seeing the Review. And when I reach to the Homestay,it is totally Opposite.Rooms are very small and dirty. It is not homestay,it is like lower class guest house.Owener live on other place. I left the place without using it and booked another Hotel even I lost Booking amount. I think most of the review are implemented. I will never recommend it to anyone. Make my trip should verify such bogus advertisement.
