Vasantalaya Homestay

An amazing homestay if you are looking at comfort, privacy, reasonable charges, excellent homemade food. Basant ji and Janki ji whose home it is are a simple humble couple who go out of their way to make you comfortable. Megha their daughter and her partner Kiran are available all the time but not in your way, always a whatsapp message away. The unit where we stayed has a bedroom, a dining, cooking, sitting room with a gas stove and utensils to cook. There is a nice sitting area outside the unit facing the valley and on clear days the Himalayan ranges. The family stays 7 steps down. The homestay is 20-25 steps uphill from main road. It is 1.2 kms from Aarohi Health center if you are coming from Almora side / going to Odakhan, Satkhol, Bhimtal etc. There is a nice uphill Trek of 20-40 minutes depending on your fitness that takes you up to Satoli village where there is a convenience store and a cafe
