PARIJAT HOMESTAY DARJEELING

The staffs were welcoming, and always ready to assist, which made us feel at home. The food was definitely a highlight, it was fresh, delicious and flavorful. However, the rooms were a bit congested, making longer stays slightly uncomfortable. The geyser wasn’t working, the TV was non-functional, and there was no bonfire arranged. The homestay is quite far from Mall Road and the market, some local travel assistance would be helpful.

Rooms are very well maintained. We were husband, wife and 2 kids, reached the location in afternoon and got a very well maintained big room with 2 beds. In the night when it was extermly cold, owner offered us double blanket which helped a lot. Hot water, gyser is also provided in bathrooms. We also received kettle and coffee kit etc in room. Clean blanket and clean towels were also provided to us. The owners were very friendly. They served hot breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday and keep asking about our choice as well for the next day. They served hot milk also to our small kid without any charges and next day when we were checking out they helped to arrange a cab as well for our next destination and local site seeing. However the wall of the room had some water dumps due to the rainy wather in city but it is ok, you are not going to lick the wall :) . It is my personal recommendation that ignore minor issue and enjoy the stay with very welcoming owners.

Behave of Ratna Ma'am and her husband is very good... 🌻🌻Food was delicious and cost of food was genuine.. Breakfast was complementary... View from the balcony and flower, plants etc are very beautiful... 🌦️⛈️🏔️🌄🏞️ Bathroom was also clean and spacious.. Mall road se thoda door hai but maine Bike 🏍️ rent per le liya fir koi problem nahi Hui...Bike🏍️ se jane per mall road 3 minutes lagte hain... The homestay is of Brahmin family... To jo log Shakahari hain, unke liye best hai... Ghar ka mandir bahut sundar hai..🕉️🛕Akhand deepak humesha jalta rahta hai...🪔🪔 Her younger son is singer and plays gitar.. to Night barbeque with his melodious is worth enjoy... Peace pagoda, Zoological Park, Batasia loop , tea garden and rock garden... Sab yahan se najdeek hi hai... Wonderful and excellent....♥️♥️♥️

The best service! I shouldn't be using the word service as the owners treated us like a family. I visited on my birthday with my family. They unexpectedly gifted me with a best birthday surprise. The younger son of the owner is a multi-talented guy who is an excellent singer. He personally sang songs on my birthday to make me feel special. Not only that, a special puja was done on my birthday for my well being which touched our hearts. The food is so reasonable and of utmost awesome taste, that too homemade, quantity serves 3, even if you order one plate The only disadvantage is that the location is far away from Darjeeling Mall Road. But the plus point is that the owner will send you transport till hotel, that too in very very reasonable price. Also, he will arrange reserved bookings for your travel in much lower price than market rate covering the same travel tourism points. Thanks to the entire team for making me and my family feel so special. The next time I visit, i want to see you grow more in fame.

Had a great experience here with family. We had booked 3 rooms for 8 people. They have 2 rooms on the roof and a few on the ground floor. All the rooms are clean and well equipped. The location is a little difficult to reach without a cab. Got a beautiful city view from the roof, and a very well made dining area which is absolutely photogenic. If you are planning to book this property, contact them directly in their WhatsApp number share on Google maps. The room rates are very reasonable and they serve delicious home cooked food. The owner is very helpful and full filled all the requirements like booking cabs for sight seeing and ropeway tickets. They have a major construction in progress for future expansion so that will be added soon.

People are good, however the hospitality part is lacking in some context. Like even after saying 4-5 times , the geyser is not working. However they will provide you hot water in bucket on request.Electric kettle is not functioning in the room but if you need hot water they will give you in room. I came here after reading the review of the others. Honest review should be given. Foods are good. Daily room cleaning is missing as well. Within the room one TV is there which is not operational, no Idea what is the use of keeping that show piece (TV). I had some more expectations but it's okay sometimes you need to adjust somehow. Owner is good. Small improvement is required and hopefully they will work on it.

We had a comfortable stay, owners were friendly and welcoming. The view from the balcony is awesome as you get to see whole of Darjeeling and the Kanchenjunga mountain view. Food served to us were also delicious. Overall, it was a nice experience.
