Wild Thrills

We had a beautiful experience staying at Wild Thrills. The hosts are very gracious and welcoming. We experienced beautiful scenic views from sunrise to sunset. We also got lucky and got to see Kanchenjunga from our room once the clouds cleared out. The hosts provided us with delicious meals and even let us use their kitchen to prep our own meals. They made our stay very comfortable. We will definitely visit again and highly recommend this place.

From start to finish, paaji was such an exceptional host, ensuring comfort at all times! The genuine hospitality and assistance made us feel right at home. The property was well-maintained, comfortable and the friendly nature of the host just adds to it. The name “wild thrills” truly resonated with my experience there which was all about thrills, excitement and bundle of memories. Wholeheartedly recommending this listing to anyone who wishes to have a comfortable stay here in Darjeeling. Thankyou to Paaji for this lifetime experience and for being such an incredible host. Darjeeling is a lovely place. If you're planning to visit this place and looking for a good hotel with ambience, nature sight, good food then this place is perfect. It is away from crowdy Darjeeling Mall road so it is perfect for peace loving people. There is a big terrace where you can take sun bath, enjoy the scenic view of Darjeeling and can dry your wet clothes. There is a kitchen also which can be used by guests also. The owner is very down to Earth and hospitable.

I had the most beautiful experience of staying in Wild Thrills for 3 days! The location is just amazing, You get to wake up to Toy train engine's sound and that's such a beautiful Darjeeling experience that everyone should try! The hospitality is top notch. Both the hosts Dev Bhai and Bhabi ji were very friendly and helpful. And the food is just out of the world! You must try their Momos, Aloo Paratha and Korean noodles (spicy), they are very good! You can also go on random hikes, explore the town. At night, if you are adventurous enough to feel the chill and stargaze, you can go to their roof, Amazing view! Also to warm yourself up and if you feel like dancing to music , they have a perfect cozy place with a bonfire and a forest view. It was a beautiful experience, and it goes without saying I will visit again! Not only because of the beautiful property and experience but also because of the 2 beautiful and loving people who are running this place! ||||Thank you Dev Bhai, see you soon!!

I visited Wild Thrills between 19 May to 21 May'22. I had intentionally avoided the crowded city of Darjeeling and wanted to stay somewhere close to nature but easily accessible to the main centre of Darjeeling. After quite a few online searches I got to know of this place. Once I checked in here me and my family were very elated to find such a beautiful place amidst nature. Along with the chirping of birds in the forest on the backyard to the whistling of the toy train it was an unique of an experience. Also got a brief view of Kachenjunga in the evening. The home stay is run by the couple both of whom are very wonderful and hospitable. The food served here is also very authentic and the quality is way above the most of the eateries in the main Town. The room amenities were also very good. Overall I found this to be an excellent place to stay.

A Place For Everyone! Visit this Homestay to experience the awesome hospitality from the host. They are extremely homely and helpful. Rooms are very clean on budget. Bathrooms are big and tidy. They offer a choice of foods from every state in India. Everything is pocket friendly but extremely high quality. The location gives the homestay a quiet and inspiring vibe. The pine forests around are mysterious. The connectivity with the mall road is also very good. Just from outside of T.B. hospital take a shared cab to chawk bazar or Darjeeling station and start shopping or enjoy the night life. 40 Rs. by shared taxi. Enjoy the hustle bustle and at night enjoy a quiet stay at wild thrills. Batasia loop is in walking distance. And on request the host will arrange cabs for sightseeing. The food is Lajawab. Bhaiya is an excellent cook. The Ramen , the maggi, Alooaratha, curry, dal, etc. Everything was finger licking good. Have to mention this we got into a problem with our car. And the host bhaiya supported us even after we checked out. To make sure everything is alright he came with us to a place from where we were safe.

While the cab from Gangtok dropped us at Wild Thrills, Mr Dev been a tremendous host to us. The rooms were nice, clean and with a spacious washroom with exclusive fittings. The view from the corridor, (we were very lucky to get a sunny morning) makes your day perfect when you see the beauty of the mistic white Kanchenjunga..This hotel is well connected(you can save some bucks using shared taxi) to all sights and walking distance to Batasia Loop. The stay was very pleasant and cherry on the top was the Hospitality provided by the Wild Thrills team led by Dev ji. Special Thanks to you. Definitely a stay next time as well.
