CASTOR HOMESTAY

Relaxed warm ambience. Good view and excellent location. 10-15 min downhill walk to the town. I personally love these kinda places where you need to walk a little to get somewhere. Room was comfortable, tidy and clean. They really put effort. Lady of the house gentle and open hearted. Got to meet extended family over the supper, pleasantly spent evening covering many topics. Over six weeks in India, a have stayed in a bunch of home-stays that were nothing more than a guest houses. This one is truly the homestay. Keep it up. Martins from Denmark

I had an excellent stay at Castor's home stay. It's about 15 mins walk /7 mins drive away from Kalimpong taxi stand. So it's a very peaceful location. The rooms are very clean and bed is nice and comfortable. There's a really nice viewpoint close by. The mountains are visible from one of the rooms on a clear day. Cassia aunty who looks after the place is really nice and takes you around for sightseeing. I also enjoyed my time running/walking in the Forrest trails close to the viewpoint.

We went to Castor at 8pm without prebooking it. Host lives on the ground floor and hence they are available at any hours. We took the big room with the view. Room is comfortable and has a small area to sit and have tea. Stay at Castor because of the location. It is 50 mtrs walk away from a Beautiful spot for sitting and relaxing watching the vast range of white mountains.

One of the warmest home stay’s I’ve been to. I consider myself lucky to have accidentally found this place. When I say warm, I mean the single room I stayed in is literally warm and Cosy. The family is equally warm. It felt like home. The host, Cassia Aunty, she’s the loveliest and her food is so yummy. She’ll go out of her way to make you feel comfortable. I must say the view from the property is the best, really peaceful.

Super Nice place and super Nice family very helpfull and lovely. I should be stay ont night - but I extend and stay five. Nice location, close bus/jeep station by walk but far of busy city center. Almost Last home on a rond, good view and quiet. Tanks for everithing. Hope to come black ont day

Awesome place to stay.. feels like you are at ur home .. host is very friendly and helpfull..i recommand Coster's homestay for people travelling to Kalimpong and nearby areas..
