It has been beautiful homestay , actually beyond expectations of my family. Our family of five had in fact desired a homely and attractive place for staying. Right from start of our trip to Kalimpong we were looking for a stay point. Obviously, that has been fulfilled at Dalimkot homestay . Apart from the feel that we all had, we shouldn't hesitate admiring Houselady Kamla Ji, who with whole family have demonstrated excellence of management, skill as well as homely warmth. Everything inclusive of quality of food served, location, indoor arrangements, outdoor garden etc went encoded in our memories. Very honest to say that place is worth living and adding up to attractions what tourists aspire for. We wish this home stay to take galloping growth in the days to come. My stay at Dalimkot homestay was simply outstanding. From the moment I arrived, the attentive staff, elegant decor, and exceptional service left a lasting impression. One of the most beautiful and welcoming homestay I've ever been to in my life. The stay is not just filled with mesmerizing view of mountains including kanchenjunga but the hospitality of Kamala mam is just so heartwarming. The accomodation is too cozy and amenities are of great quality. I would also recommend to try out their homely food which is too tasty.

Long story, short - "one of the coziest stay in kalimpong at a affordable cost", So been here for the first time, I was worried about how will be stay and all.. But no sooner we enter, it was a beautiful experience. Regardless of a very good ambience, the behaviour of the people of the homestay, was very good. One thing, I can say is, you cannot expect fancy cuisine keeping in mind it's homestay, but still the food was good enough. (The best thing they served is their hot bbq chicken) Lastly, a perfect stay avoiding the chorus and crowd of the city, and for everyone including friends, family, colleague etc.

Kamala mam who hosted us is a legend , the place has a scenic and breathtaking view of Kalimpong. The hospitality was really great and we were super comfortable during our entire stay . The food was from the organic farming garden they maintained and it was delicious. We also spent time at the cafe owned by her and it was superb as well. The dogs there were super friendly . She also took care of us as our own children . Highly recommended place to stay in Kalimpong

We arrived back from Kalimpong just last night, filled with memories and gratitude for an unforgettable trip. Our time there was made special by the stunning landscapes, thrilling activities like river rafting and mountain climbing, and above all, the warm hospitality we received at Dalimkot Homestay. However, this place meant much more to us than just a typical homestay—it was the cherished home of our beloved Kamala aunty. Every moment of our stay was thoroughly enjoyable. The rooms were impeccably tidy, and the breathtaking view from the balcony was truly mind-blowing. The outhouse and garden were simply amazing, adding to the overall charm of the place. But what stood out above all else was the exceptional hospitality extended to us. Kamala aunty and her entire family truly believed in the mantra, "Atithi Deva Bhaba" (Guests are like gods). Aunty was always ready to cater to our needs, going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. On the last evening, we had become a bit cranky about barbecued chicken when we went to the mall road for shopping. Aunty assured us that she would try her best, and when we returned after an hour, a mouthwatering spread of barbecued chicken was waiting for us. That evening, aunty organized a gala dinner for us, and we relished the delicious food and drinks until we were sleepy. Aunty would constantly check in on us, making sure we had everything we needed. And even when she couldn't be there personally, a member of her family, Max (the Big Puppy), would faithfully accompany us, displaying incredible obedience and not touching anything without permission. Even after we left, aunty continued to show her care by texting us to ensure our safe journey home. Such thoughtfulness touched our hearts deeply. We will certainly miss aunty and her warm presence, but we make a promise that whenever we plan to visit Kalimpong again, we will eagerly return to her home, ready to embrace her hospitality once more...

Dalimkot homestay goes beyond five star . This place is more than what you will desire for.This homestay is located with one of the most breathtaking view of kanchanjanga. It has two very large bedrooms,two hangout rooms and for kids there are variety of books available to read. More than all this the special touch of mrs.kamala that makes this place a heaven . She had pre heated the rooms before we can , provided us with hot water bags to keep ourselves warm at night . Breakfast was served at a private deck with beautiful view and amidst mrs.kamala beautiful garden . I can not thank her enough for taking care of me as i got ill on my trip and her motherly touch is something you won't find at any other homestay. She has built it with love and passion. A must visit place whenever you visit kalingpong . With loads of love DIVYA

It was truly a home away from home. The rooms were big and clean, food was excellent, the view from the balcony is breathtaking. If the weather is clear, you can enjoy clear views of the mountains and the kalimpong city. The people are so jovial. Aunty and uncle were very welcoming and saw to all our needs. We had a barbecue party on our second day with live music and were joined by the family members and friends that included Max (the fluffiest good boi), and Kitty (apparently the newest member who has not even been named). You can easily avail cabs and visit the nearest attractions like the kalimpong science center, pineview nursery, rishop and sillery gaon from the place, or if you just want to relax, you can spend your time sitting at the outhouse sipping some piping hot tea. Oh, and we also got to taste yak meat, which is a delicacy that can only be found in north east.
