Sunnyside Homestay is a charming retreat nestled in the midst of the woods, beautifully set along the slopes of the hills. The ambience is serene and refreshing, perfect for anyone looking to escape the hustle of city life. The rooms offer good comfort for a very reasonable price. Modern amenities are available, making the stay quite convenient. The breakfast served is of good quality and delicious—definitely a highlight of the experience. However, one downside was the attitude of the owner, who seemed a bit moody and not very cooperative at times. While this did affect certain aspects of our stay, it didn’t take away too much from the overall experience. All in all, it’s a lovely place with a lot of potential, especially if the management improves a bit. Still, I’d recommend it for the peaceful setting, good facilities, and tasty food.

The homestay is located 2 kms from Kurseong city. It`s away from the crowded city, still it`s located beside the main road and has a perfect blend of nature and city-life (not so crowded). We spent 3 days there, just sitting in the bench beside our cottage, strolling around the hills amidst the nature and listening to the chirping sound of birds which used to wake us up. The owner (Uncle ji) is very gentle and nice person, moreover is a great cook. We used to chat with him whole day long over his home-made Darjeeling chai and peyanji. We definitely recommend you to visit and experience this lifetime experience.

I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future. As per my opinion The secure and safe environment of this sunny side Home stay will always have my heart. I have recommended that others visit (sunny side Home stay, Kurseong) once, and I can assure you that they will never regret it. "Uncle ji" was incredibly welcoming and helpful, and I also loved the delicious breakfast and the convenient location, Room:- It was clean and wooden stylish and comfortable. Food:- Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient.

It was an awesome vacation I had there..easy to reach from Siliguri or NJP, by share car . On the highway only . Ambience is very good, food , hospitality all are good. There Hosts were very good and jovial. And if you are animal lover you can be friends with there little cute puppy Tinku🙂😇

Awesome experience during our stay at Sunnyside homestay. The location was lovely sorrounded by pine trees. Superb hospitality with homely food. Cottages are well maintained and clean. Totally value for money.

Lovely homestay would surely recommend. The cottages are very beautiful and comfortable. The owner, Canute Uncle is a very good person and he made sure that we enjoyed our stay. The food is also quite delicious and they also have a cute dog, just in case you are a pet lover! We had a wonderful experience here😊

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff behavior was excellent, and the complimentary breakfast was very tasty. For dinner, I had chicken kosha and roti, while my friends enjoyed chilli chicken and fried rice. The food was delicious, although the quantity of fried rice could have been better. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful, making us feel at home. The room was small and cozy, perfect for a comfortable stay. The location, though a bit far from the main market, offers a quiet and peaceful environment, which I appreciated. The hotel also provides additional amenities like tent facilities, 24-hour hot water, a barbecue, and a chimney, although these come at an extra charge of ₹2200 per night per room. Overall, a great experience for those seeking a peaceful and cozy retreat with good hospitality.
