Bhagirath Homestay

Very beautiful place Mirik . Bhagirath home stay is home for all tourist place. Family is very cute and helpful. We enjoyed stay for 2 days . Food and good room. , hot water. Healthy food. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. 👌👌👌. Loved their soft behavior ✌🙏🙏.

Awesome place managed by an awesome couple. Feels like you are visiting family members, not in a hotel/lodge. Very helpful and very friendly. Made sure that my stay was worthwhile. In terms of location also not so far from the center but in a peaceful location in the immediate vicinity of a very famous monastery. Recommended.

According to me the homestay is located in a great place just near the Bokar Monastery. And away from the congestion of mirik. But at the same time you have to walk a little long. Coming to the rooms of the homestay, it was average. The rooms at the ground floor lacks free flowing light as the windows are by the side of a tall wall. Every room has two bed where 3-4 people can accommodate easily. On the floor there was a carpet so there is no cold feeling on the foot. But the windows weren't totally windproof. Let come to the behavior, its okayis. They don't come to ask anything we needed or not. During lunch or breakfast we had to approach them to prepare the same. Otherwise their kitchen and dining room was good to accommodate 5-6 people at a time. There was also a grocery shop attached with the homestay which was quite good where chips, cakes, cold drinks, biscuits were available.

Stayed here for over 5 days. The service and ambience was commendable. Friendly owner and friendly environment. The view of Kanchanjunga in the morning was breathtaking. 100 metres away from monastry is another plus point. Would recommend this homestay for all.

If you want a window view of the kanchanjungha..and traditional nepali kitchen and cooking then this place can be one of your options
