The rooms was good. The caretaker over there arranged a bonfire which was awesome in winter. The food was excellent. Recommended dish - Desi murgi kosha and polau or fried rice

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Caretakers are very friendly and provide good service. Food is also good. This homestay is best for those who wants to spend some hastle free day in calm and quiet place away from city noise.

Waste of money. Please don't stay at this homestay. Rooms are very small, frequent power cuts and no power backup. Very bad behaviour of the care taker and owner with my friends. You can get far better homestays at much cheaper cost.

One of the best home stays in santinikatan. Food is really tasty and good like a homely flavour. The staff's behaviour is so polite and homely. All over the owner Rupa di and joy da is a great and friendly personality. Thanks.

It is not student friendly. So, I stayed there as a tenant! I didn't have a pleasant experience with the owner of this Homestay! The owner asked me to VACATE after a FEW DAYS OF SHIFTING TO THE ROOM (because of her personal reasons).I requested her for more time! But she just told me I'VE TO LEAVE BY THE END OF THE MONTH! They have a tendency to implement rules which were not there in the first place. 3 of my friends from different parts of the country once came for an hour and then I got to know "no friends are allowed!".They strictly forbid any kind of gathering of friends. Also, in the morning everyday 10am-1pm you'll be able to hear people working inside with a loud voice. IT WAS MY WORST EXPERIENCE!

We had booked a short stay but I must mention the owner is extremely helpful to accept our special request during rush days. The caretaker is proactive in checking with us to ensure the experience is pleasant. He was also very helpful to guide us about local site seeing. The backyard of the stay is the most attractive area built with a home like landscape to relax and have hot coffee.

Unexpectedly bad experience... As said 10 to 15min from sonajhuri, but no it took almost 25min,they have own Toto, which is too much expensive, Network issue is there,and wifi is not working properly. It's called homestay but behaviour is like a hotel.. Whereas service and cleanliness is very very bad... Mosquito, Dirt and and used period pads in toilet.. And most importantly the owner came to her own homestay but didn't have a courtesy to meet their customers or guests regarding everything is ok or not... That is really unprofessional behaviour. U have to eat in their dining rooms only,can't use outside table,as they r so so dirty. Unfortunately I can't ad the pictures of bad exterior,dirty rooms, toilet,used pads,etc etc.... If anyone wants,can contact me will send the picture personally.

I had read such great reviews of this place. Extremely disappointed with the place. Rooms were shabby, not at all maintained, everywhere there was layers of accumulated dust even on the floor.No hygiene at all. The pictures don't reveal the truth. Had to shift to another Homestay even after making full payment after seeing the condition of the rooms. Non AC room was worst. Even AC room was not clean. Broken glass and furniture kept on one of the windows inside the AC room. Even 400rs lodge by the station are better maintained than this place.All money wasted.Very much disheartened.
