ROSE VILLA ( Takdah Heritage Colonial Bungalow No 9).

Rose Villa offers comfort and serenity. Looked after by Mr D Lama and his family, the guests are made to feel at home. Wholesome food, well appointed rooms and aesthetics combine to make the stay memorable. Special mention is a must for Mr Lama's mother, who helms the kitchen. The housekeeping by Manisha and Sima is excellent. Rooms are comfortable and clean and the garden beautiful.

I can't describe in words what how good the homestay was. Location,Cleanliness, hospitality, food and most importantly the family like feel was exceptional. They are so kind. Wish to go there whenever i get a chance. Thank you so much for everything ❤️❤️

Wonderful experience. Truly homely atmosphere and wonderful hosts. Stayed in Queens heritage suite which is superbly maintained and amicably decorated. Food is awesome, tasty and served well. Tea served is awesome. A packet of tea was gifted at the time of check out. Overall great experience and highly recommend.

The Lamas are a great host. We had an amazing experience during our stay - good food and hospitality , awesome views. This is a heritage bungalow and maintained really well. They take every effort to honor the requests. Shall visit again in the future.

We stayed at Rose Villa for 2days in June 2025. It was indeed a lovely experience. The property is very well maintained, nicely restored, food were good and overall they gave us a family like treatement. It's a must visit place.

A delightful stay at Takdah, with Rose Villa serving as a perfect blend of warm local hospitality along with its old world colonial charm. They are very kind when it comes to serving their guests, and I must mention about the food and tea, which would leave behind a long lasting mark on your tastebuds. Mr.Lama makes sure that you get a very authentic charm of Takdah, by soaking into nature while blending with their routine lives. You would be greeted with a smile every time you come across any of their family members. Though there are some areas to be looked into when it comes to the room, yet overall it is definitely an experience of a lifetime for all the boarders.

Had a wonderful stay in Rose Villa, Takdah. The pine trees , the greenary, the silence , the chirping of the birds and their song all made our stay really beautiful. And special mention to the superb food( we had english breakfast, indian lunch and chinese dinner/ thupka) cooked by the staffs under the guidance of the mother of the owner. The service was excellent and we really enjoyed the company of their pet Gin and their cook's daughter Lily. Grandfather of the owner is 101 years and still very strong. Heard stories from his past. And special mention to the owner cum manager for helping us to drive our car down slope.
