I had a great stay at the hotel. The overall experience was very good — the rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. What truly stood out was the staff's hospitality. Everyone was warm and welcoming, especially Sunil, who went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed. His friendly and helpful nature made our stay even more enjoyable. We had an enjoyable 2 day stay at this property 2 weeks ago.Its location is lovely and has a scenic view. Though..it's slightly away from the hustle bustle of mcleodganj main square.( You will need a private vehicle if you wish to explore..you can easily rent 2 wheeler s) The best part of our stay was the beautiful view of the mountains.. right from our room. The property is great if you're staying with children, as they have many in house games available. Food was just about okay ..kinda average.I felt they were slightly understaffed ..but the one's present were quite friendly and helpful. Suggestion -Also the quality of linen and cleanliness esp. of the common areas can be improved upon. Overall the place is nice..but with some more care given in daily maintenance.. the stay will be much more pleasant. *To add excitement you might have some self invited visitor monkeys coming to your balcony 😄

I stayed at The Bunksters during my visit to Dharamkot, and it was a truly memorable experience. The location is excellent surrounded by nature with beautiful mountain views, and close to cafes, trails. The staff was friendly, helpful, and made the stay feel very welcoming. There’s a strong community vibe.

Very Bad Experience – Not Worth the Money Staff Not Helpful: The hotel staff were very careless and did not take any responsibility for problems. They were not ready to help or solve issues. Dirty Room: The room was not cleaned properly. There were spider webs and dust everywhere, showing poor housekeeping. Balcony Was Filthy: The balcony was full of dirt and looked like it had not been cleaned in weeks. We could not even stand there. Insects in the Room: The room had many insects, which made our stay very uncomfortable and unsafe for health. Wrong Room Given: We booked a different room online, but at check-in, they gave us the wrong one without any reason or apology. No Responsibility by Management: No manager was available to speak to. Staff didn’t care about our complaints and just ignored us. Fake Photos Online: The pictures shown on the website are totally different. The real condition of the hotel is much worse.
