I chose this hostel for my first solo trip, since it was so close to mall road. The connectivity is a big plus, many good cafes at walking distance and very accessible via 2 wheelers. My community manager was Joyce, lovely lovely girl who helped me interact with new people and recommend some of the most beautiful locations. They even arranged a cake for me for my birthday! The view from this hostel is to die for, and in the evenings there's always some activity going on in the common area. It's a great hostel, I would highly recommend it

My friend and I stayed at the hostel for one night and two days. The atmosphere was vibrant and competitive, yet very welcoming. The staff's communication skills were excellent, and special thanks to Joyce for making our stay unforgettable. This is the perfect place to stay for solo travelers or groups, and its location is also fantastic.

I had a fantastic experience staying at this hostel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to offer tips on local spots and things to do. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with secure lockers and a cozy atmosphere. I especially appreciated the common areas – perfect for meeting other travelers and relaxing after a day of exploring. The location was ideal, close to public transport, restaurants, and major attractions. Overall, a great value for the price. I’d definitely stay here again! Special mention for Joyce who was a volunteer there and made sure that the experience go beyond our expectations.

I stayed there for 1 day, staff is very polite and cooperattive. Stay was good. The only thing if they can improve is if they can have lift as there is no lift available and if possible reduce food charges, food charges are little higher. Rooms are clean and nice, you can stay here its affordable. Also, just 4 to 5 minutes away from the main mcleodganj chowk/market. Value for money it is.

It was a great experience and community manager and the people at the reception are best. If you want to get vibe with them. So yeah, just if you are so travelling all in a group, this is the perfect place to be. it was a very pleasant experience meeting with Asha and stuti

I stayed at The Hosteller McLeodganj for 4 days, and it was an amazing experience! The location is perfect—just far enough from the main market to enjoy peace and quiet, but still within walking distance to all the major attractions. The hostel itself is clean, vibrant, and has a great vibe. The common areas are cozy and ideal for meeting fellow travelers. The view from the rooftop is stunning—especially during sunrise and sunset. The staff was super friendly, always ready to help with local tips and recommendations. Special thanks to the team for making the stay so comfortable! The dorms and washrooms were well-maintained, and I appreciated the little touches like reading lights, charging points, and lockers.
