Excellent budget stay in a great location. I was lucky to get a single room for cheap, and it was worth the amount paid. The area was quiet and beautiful, and the rooms were well-equipped—almost like a hotel. I was impressed with the cleanliness and the large bathroom. The only drawback was the noise, which seemed to carry easily between rooms. I also appreciated the ease and simplicity of ordering amenities and food online, which I haven’t seen in another hostel globally.

I would have loved to give a three star rating, but giving two only because of the abysmal service. Right from check-in experience where the lady was confused about room categories, to the staff canteen who despite booking food online well in advance don't start preparing food unless you go and tell them, right upto the check-out experience where when we asked for 20 extra minutes to check-out guy asked us rudely to vacate asap stating they have other bookings. Rooms were decently clean and vibe of the place is good. Great view from the terrace but seriously need to work on the service.

It was a bit hard to locate, the view is good, but not great, you might find better properties with much better view out there if you research a little bit more. The rooms were neat and clean and the food of the inhouse cafe was great as always. All in all, i enjoyed my stay here. Staff is great and Friend.

I chose this hostel for my first solo trip, since it was so close to mall road. The connectivity is a big plus, many good cafes at walking distance and very accessible via 2 wheelers. My community manager was Joyce, lovely lovely girl who helped me interact with new people and recommend some of the most beautiful locations. They even arranged a cake for me for my birthday! The view from this hostel is to die for, and in the evenings there's always some activity going on in the common area. It's a great hostel, I would highly recommend it

an amazing stay at this hostel! From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The atmosphere here is relaxed yet social — perfect for solo travelers and groups alike. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with lockers and charging points at every bed. The common areas were well-maintained, and I loved chilling in the lounge and meeting fellow travelers. I stayed here for 5 days and had a great experience. The location is perfect—very close to Mall Road. The service was excellent, and the staff were always helpful. Any requests I made were resolved quickly and on time. One of the best things about Hosteller is the privacy curtains on the bunker beds, which really adds comfort. Overall, a great stay and would definitely recommend it!

I had booked Hosteller after seeing the photos on Goibibo, as it appeared to offer a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. Unfortunately, the actual experience was highly disappointing. The rooms were not clean, carried an unpleasant odor, and we even found ants on the towels. The bottled water provided had visible fungal growth, which was extremely concerning. Basic hospitality was completely lacking throughout our stay. There was no lift in the property, and we were left to carry our luggage to the second floor without any assistance. When we requested a first aid kit, it was not available. The property enforces a strict no outside food policy, yet the in-house food options were not appetizing. Due to heavy rainfall, we could neither step out nor order food from outside, leaving us with very limited choices. Furthermore, the café operates only during fixed hours, which meant food was unavailable beyond those timings. This created an atmosphere that felt more restrictive than relaxing, contrary to the expectations of a vacation stay. Check-out was another unpleasant experience. Although we exceeded the check-out time by merely 10–15 minutes, the staff’s response was unnecessarily aggressive and unprofessional. Overall, this was one of the worst stays we have experienced. The property failed to deliver on basic cleanliness, hospitality, and guest comfort. Hosteller, in our experience, did not meet even the minimum standards expected from a reputed stay option.

The only drawback was the noise, which seemed to carry easily between rooms. There is also no view from the room if that's what you are looking for, but plenty as soon as you step outside. I also appreciated the ease and simplicity of ordering amenities and food online, which I haven’t seen in another hostel globally. The wi-fi was occasionally spotty.
