Staying at Live Free Hostel in Dharamshala was one of the coziest and most memorable experiences I’ve had. The host, Avatar, was incredibly humble and welcoming. The food was delicious, and the cleanliness was impeccable. This place gifted me cherished memories and friendships that I’ll carry forward. I would rate my journey here as excellent and highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience joyous and unforgettable moments in the mountains here.

I really had a good experience. The food was awesome. Staff was very cooperative. And cherry on the cake was stay was very near to the main market. Avatar helped us with almost everything from arranging things for Dharamshala film festival to accompanying us till bhagsunath waterfalls. No doubt, he is an incredible content creator! But cleanliness should be improved :)

Absolutely loved my stay! The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The location is perfect, offering breathtaking views of McLeodganj right from the rooms. Everything was spotless—the rooms, washrooms, and even the cafe areas. The vibe is unmatched, and the staff made us feel at home. The rooms were spacious, clean, and super cozy with comfortable beds and warm blankets. The cleanliness here is next level—the washrooms were big and spotless. Loved the board games in the cafe, and the scenic location was just the cherry on top. If you're visiting McLeodganj, don't think twice—stay here! Highly recommend!

I enjoyed my stay at Live Free Hotel where I got to experience some ethereal scenic beauty, fun games along with some delicious meals. The rooms were comfortable. The wifi could be improved for the hotel. The professionals guided us about the best places to visit which were intriguing for the students.

We stayed here for three nights and loved it! Very friendly and helpful service. The room was spacious, clean, had a balcony and a good view. There were fresh towels every day and they have a washing machine that you can use free of charge. They also have a restaurant and rooftop restaurant but we didn't eat there.

Very comfortable, clean with all needed facilities. Ideal for a budget conscious traveller. The focus on room cleanliness is superb plus a good size bathroom make it great find. It's location near the Dalai Temple and near the market is great. Ideal for stretching those muscles that are not used often enough.

We are a college group stayed here for 2 nights. It is almost a seamless hassle free experience. A well mechanised hotel administration and hospitality team for a joyful experience. We would like to revisit the property and also recommend for solo travelers and college trip or bulk booking.
