Footsteps Hostel and Cafe

Location: Footsteps Home stays is located at the mythological village Gaushal which was home to Maharishi Gautama . I have visited here with my wife and daughter and stayed here for 2 days in January 2024. The hostel cum home stay is located in old Manali away from the crowded area and requires a few steps on foot to reach here.Footsteps hostel is surrounded by Apple gardens and offers scenic views of snow covered mountain peaks and water falls ,from rooms. The roof can also be enjoyed as sun bath in chilly weather with some snacks. Activities: Apple Garden tracks( requires few steps Bone Fire with music on demand. Ancient Goshal village track (1200m) up to Beas river to understand the true Himachali culture (100m away from here). Pure and clean Beas river . Facilities: 24 Hrs power backup,24 hours Hot water They have 4 family rooms and 2 Dormatry rooms. Family rooms have attached washrooms. Home cooked food Other Pros: The Host Abhishek Chauhan who is available 24/7 to make your stays unforgettable Cons: Not suitable for elderly We have enjoyed all the activities and facilities of Footsteps home stay and I have a shared all the memories over here .

The best place for stay in nature leaving behind the chaos of city. The food here is amazing, I promise you won't find better Indian food in all manali. Few trek behind the property gives you full pleasure of nature and jungle vibes. Highly recommended

Great food! Homely vibes, Full-power and good energies all over the place. Scenic view from the place, main plus is the cosy cafe with a breathtaking view of the Jogini waterfalls! Abhishek, the host is a absolute adventure freak and loves to interact with the guest! Also not to forget the cook Tharman Bhai (Tony) cooks the best homestyle food ever and is the cutest one around.

Excellent place. Mesmerizing view. 2 waterfalls near the hostel makes it even better. Food was really tasty and staff treated us like hone. Rooms and washroom were big and clean with all facilities. Highly recommend this place to visit.
