OYO 8260 PSR Hotel

Good location with friendly staff. It is about 300 metres from Srinivasam Complex. The rooms are very spacious. The bed is quite comfortable. Air conditioner did not take much time to cool the room. It is easy to go and return to the temple from here. The road in front does get busy in the evenings. One can park their vehicle at the property. Fixtures in the bathroom could be cleaner. The rooms could be insulated more for a quieter room. Check in was very quick, the staff also arranged for dinner. No in-House restaurant.

Only the rooms and bathrooms (housekeeping dept) are neat and good. Unpleasant experience overall. 1. @makemytrip hasnt done due diligence in checking all amenities which are declared 2. Reception staff has communication problems. 3. Restaurant is not available for some reasons and wasn't disclosed. Couldn't even get a cup of tea after whole days journey arriving at 10PM. 3. Breakfast was included in package. We were 6 members and git 4 plates idly vada. 2 of us have to go hungry. Absolutely ridiculous. Lodges at railway stations are more resourceful than this hotel.

The place needs major upgrades. Lack of maintenance will eventually kill the business. Though the room had basic amenities it lacked proper functioning of it! For example, the flush in the washroom worked whenever it pleased. The water gets hot only after you waste 3 or 4 buckets of it. The service guy was so eager to get his tip that he woke us up at 5 am in the morning just to inform that he's going off duty. The price felt decent at the beginning but after the experience we were way overcharged!

Booked as a last minute Business trip with my colleague. We were looking for cheap and peaceful, So when we saw this reasonable looking hotel for a more than reasonable Rs. 1250 A/c per night we were pleased. However, on arrival we waited in reception for 20 minutes (there was no way of summoning any staff) until a receptionist arrived to check us in and check-out clearance took us almost an Hour's time. He rushed through the usual spiel before handing us our key and two towels and telling us how to get to our room (number 310). Upon entering the room we noticed how small it was. The furniture was very old, very dated and in very poor condition (handles missing from wardrobe and set of drawers, wood chipped, bed unsteady and creaky, mirror unclean, TV very small and could only receive one channel). But given the price of the room, we overlooked all of these minor problems. However, on further inspection we found mould and dirt throughout the room, holes in the bedding, which wouldn't fasten, filthy windows and our 'clean' towels were also stained. As well as this, the building was suffering from ‘Prominent Traffic Road’ and the room was on a quite drastic noise zone and given the obvious quality of windows we had disturbed sleep. The carpet was dirty and un-hoovered and the curtains were stained. Breakfast was reasonable but could have done with being hotter. On the plus side, near to Main bus stop and the train station was less than five minutes walk away. ||We weren't expecting much for Rs 1250, however any hotel, regardless of price, should always have some standards of cleanliness, but this hotel seemed to have none. Also, the pictures provided by the hotel on certain websites are not a true reflection. ||We will definitely not be returning, and after reading other people's reviews, we would advise people to avoid making the same mistake we did. Cheap isn't always cheerful!!

I have recently stay for 2 days with family . But I had bad experience with the hotel staff. When we arrived the hotel in early morning, receipenalsit going to book online balaji darshan tickets without our permission. When we reject the same , he got very angry as his commission was laps. Also the staff is very rude and blaming us for stoen of the TV remote. Also the staff behaviour is like that they are providing the stay as free of cost. We also tried the phone of manger of the hotel but did not pick our call. I suggest not to stay at this hotel to everyone.

Very Poor Experience, I was on a official visit and booked two rooms. Did not negotiate a single penny and paid complete Rent + Advance. I had clearly asked for check-out the next day via phone, as i was scheduled in a meeting. Reached the hotel before 12 Hours and requested for check out in the reception. But when i came to down for check out he billed me for two day instead on one. When i asked him he told it is computerized billing even a minute late will be billed. I requested to pay half, he dialed his owner, again I requested him also, went on def ears. I was about to pay the extra, suddenly a guy came from managers room and shouted pay the bill or i will call the POLICE. He called the guard and instructed him to close the parking gates. I was taken back ! Never in my career experienced such a thing.

Hotel infrastructure is good but needs more maintenance, don't expect them to provide breakfast, after shouting at 10 am they got parcel from roadside shop. Rooms veranda every where there is stinking smell, bathroom showers and pipes are blocked with salt deposit. Needs more maintenance...

Visited again, this hotel during pongal holidays 2016. Stayed two days here. We opted for this hotel due to its proximity near the bus stop and main area. The maintainence and service is bad. First we were given a room with a toilet that didnt flush properly and the water was getting wasted outside. After our complaint they changed us to another room. It seemed all fine first day, but on the next day we were unable to lock the room, and hot water was not coming in the tap. And the food in the restaurant is over priced, very bad.
