Hotel Monalisa

We ordered tandoori chicken from Monalisa today it was very very good. All the other things that we ordered were not as good but we got the chicken home and it was super tasty unexpected. Hope to try something new from the OG soon

Nice place.. Clean water.. Tidy beds parking place available.. However there is no food service available.. And the reception man is very serious looking old man 😂... He should put a smile on his face sometimes..

Though it has a very homely kind of ambiance to it, the hotel should see to it that the bath and toilets are kept neat and clean. The heater did not work and we ended up taking bath in cold water during the December cold. Staff is very nice and try their best to please with their service. Overall maintenance seems to be the need of the hour and hope the hotel does something about it.

We stayed here in December 2013 in two really big rooms and stayed longer than we had planned for. Rooms are clean with large beds and comfortable seating areas. The elderly man who owns the place is a very interesting guy. He and his niece who manages the place are both really friendly and helpful. They know a lot about the area and were kind enough to personally take me to several shops to find a replacement for the battery charger of my camera. The place has a very relaxed feel about it which was very welcome after travelling in Arunachal Pradesh with rough roads and hotels which are often not all that clean.

Good hotel but rooms and ventilation in the rooms can be better. Washrooms do not have any exhaust system.

Comparing with other options it is a good value hotel, nice and big rooms. Common area terraces in all floors, where you can sit quietly. The staff was incredible friendly, they helped us a lot with the permits, recommended us places to go and facilitated contacts for other destinations. they made our stay in Dibrugarh a lot better than expected.

Stayed here, during an official trip to Dibrugarh. Dibrugarh being a small town, didnt expect much from the hotel. However the town , as well as this Hotel pleasantly surprised me. The hotel was referred to me by a friend and soon after landing in Mohanbari airport, I realized that the hotel is well known and kind of iconic in this town. On arrival, the staff gave me a warm welcome smile and served me the famous Assamese tea. The room was basic, but clean. The location was fantastic. You have many small shops and restaurants around and I could even walk down to the main market square. Rickshaws were easily available at the Hotel's exit and it also has a nice little restaurant of its own. I stayed 2 nights here, but overall I was happy and surprised by this hotel.

Hotel is not located at the city center but easily accessible. Rooms are little old but not in bad condition. Front desk staff is OK but room service is good. Food is average but their are plenty of dinning options nearby. Overall good for a short stay at a budget.
