Bodhgaya Seven Inn Hotel n Restaurant

The personnel at the reception were super friendly and helpful which helped a lot as we arrived early in the morning. Without expectation we requested to get our room earlier than the 12pm check-in time and we got it by around 8:30am. It was the start of a pleasant stay. Convenient location to visit Mahabodhi temple. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was nice, cleanliness was excellent. At the end of our stay staff called a cab for us and helped us with our luggage. Staff are outstanding. Good Value for money. Will definitely stay again. One of the best hotels in Bodhgaya...just 5 minutes walking distance from Mahabodhi temple and 15 minutes driving distance from Gaya International Airport... luxurious bedrooms with all the facilities... Restaurant in it serves awesome food... facilities like picking and dropping by vehicle provided by hotel. Very caring and humble staffs make your stay a pleasant experience.

The place is close to Maha bhodi temple and it's convenient. You can get outside parking place too. It's surrounded by Thai and Burmese restaurants. Cleanliness around the hotel is horrible and there are a lot of mosquitoes. Most of the rooms have twin beds and hotel rooms are maintained horrible. Toilets go with 0 ratings. I suggest opting for other hotels.

Hotel Seven Inn may be a decent option relative to other options in Bodh Gaya. It's a bit hard to compare without experiencing other hotels. Importantly, the rooms are pretty clean with comfortable beds. There is hot water always and the general service of all the staff is very good. When one of us got sick the hotel even arranged for a doctor to come within 30 minutes. During our stay there were a few concerns others should consider when booking though:||||- A beautiful Vietnamese temple is next door and they begin to play their gongs around 4am which may wake you up every day. If you are a deep sleeper or if this is something you might even enjoy it wouldn't be an issue.||||- To enter and exit the hotel you have to walk through a very narrow 50 foot long small dirt pathway that leads between peoples corrugated metal & wooden homes. I felt a bit invasive and uncomfortable walking through an impoverished area into a hotel without any other route options. ||||||- The manager at Hotel Seven Inn gives off an impression of being very attentive and helpful to guests but it quickly became apparent that the intentions behind this service is to acquire more business. By the end of the trip we did not trust him and even found his demeanor to be almost abrasive. Upon check out he told us that his credit card machine was broken and that we needed to pay in cash. Only after telling him that we would be unable to pay then because we had no cash did the card machine magically begin to work. We asked if he could arrange a taxi to the airport and he told us that it would cost 1,200 rupees. A taxi to and from the airport should cost 700 max. As I told him, this was the first time in my month in India that someone had been dishonest about the cost of a service.

Stayed for a day in Sep22 with a group of 15 people. Rooms were good, food excellent. The service provided by both management and support staff is so good and unbelievable. Would like to come back again .

Close to all the attraction of Bodhgaya. Probably the best value for money in that location. Transfer from to hotel double that of local taxi. Got local taxi when leaving the hotel at half the price. Hotel owner/manager told me he uses the same taxis for his transfer service. ||Breakfast is edable but not that fantastic. Evening meal best avoided.||But definitely worth 4 stars.

Actually we book the hotel next to Seven Inn but their room is full and they move us to Seven Inn.|At the first time the manager and the staff are quite nice, they offer to help us with everything.|They said they can help to exchange our USD to Rupee, after we agreed the rate, the manager asked me to gave him Rs50, he said its for the tips for his staff who went to change the money hahaha...|The next day when the manager knows that we want to rent a car he pushed us to rent his car, but his rent rate is bad so we decided to rent from another car rental. After that all the staff and the manager never greeting us until we cheked out 2 days later.|So they will nice to you if they think they can take an advantage from you...be aware with what they offer.

The hotel is near to the Bodhi temple and other monestry. Road to the hotel is narrow but the parking space is available. Overall good place to stay with large AC rooms at a reasonable price range.
