Hotel Thai International

We have been twice in this hotel and both times we were treated as important guests.||Tea or coffee on arrival. Every day a newspaper. Useful help for booking taxi's and getting around. Clean reception area and big clean room. Nice Boedistic athmosphere.

I deeply regret the inconvenience caused to the guests. I have taken over the hotel in january 2017. The hotel has improved.lift is operational. Wi fi speed is great. Restaurant has become operational. N rooms n bathrooms has been cleaned up with new linen and towels.. toileteries are added. Trained staffs are recruited. The hotel was decent, they took care of basic amenities to be provided. The staff was humble n responsive. It was a good stay or I would say it's a "Value For Money" hotel. I would recommend this hotel for what they charge.✌️

This hotel was proposed by my Travel Agent in Varanasi when I planned a package tour of Varanasi and Gaya about 2 months in advance. I insisted that the hotels proposed by him at Varanasi as well as Bodh Gaya should be changed based on the reviews I got from Trip Advisor. He changed the Varanasi hotel after much persuasion but assured me that Thai International is a good 3-star hotel and reviews could be wrong. I relented mainly because we had only an overnight stay. However, when I and my wife reached the hotel on 9th March at around 7 PM after travelling a distance of 300km (that took 6 hours from Varanasi airport) we were really shocked to see the hotel location and its congested lounge. The hotel is in a by-lane and this lane was also under repair. So our car could not enter the lane, as there was another car. Although the hotel staff was quite courteous and room was also reasonably ok but somehow we were not happy about the location of the hotel. There is virtually no portico at the hotel gate. If one vehicle is parked there, other cannot enter the lane. Of course. the room has got all basic facilities like 2 separated beds with a cupboard but it is quite cramped. The bathroom is, however, spacious but not well planned as one has to go to toilet through wet and slippery shower area. During night we could not sleep properly as there was so much noise in the corridor due to several persons checking in or checking out. Next morning we found that a group of Sri Lankan tourists were leaving and another group was due to arrive. There was also no variety during breakfast. We were just served with an apple each besides toast/butter and tea in the lounge.There was no trace of dining hall shown by the hotel in its website.||I feel that it is simply a budget hotel and caters to large groups of tourists from nearby Asian countries. Probably the travel agents recommend this hotel because of more profits from new and ill-informed tourists While choosing the hotels, one must follow the reviews of TRIP ADVISOR. I complained to my travel agent but he said that this hotel just costs 2000/- rupees (about US $30) whereas other good hotels are more than double but I did not believe him. Not worth taking a photo also,

This is totally fake... and horrible place ever we stayed. Wanted to to Mahabodhi temple and our travel agent booked this hotel.Location is near Japanese temple. hotel, room, bathroom were very dirty. bed were so hard and dated blanket and sheet, towels. lift not working. breakfast were cold and atmosphare suffocating ( basement). When we came back from Mahabodhi Temple we noticed that some one came to our room in our absence and stolen 600 pounds from bag. we informed to manager Chatterjee but he did nothing. Probably he was also involved....... Bathroom has very strong sewage smell and plaster were coming out from bathroom and room. Do not believe them. Do not book this hotel. NOT RECOMMENDED PLACE, even this is the last hotel in Bodhgaya.

Good & homely. It's like home away from home. Food are good and tasty. Room service very prompt and timely. WiFi is available all the time. 24 are lift service was available. Hot water was available as it was very cold in January. My stay was very pleasant.

Nice hotel with good ambience. The hotel staffs are very polite and their services are very good. The food quality is also very good over here. Internet, phone, tv all facilities are available. Good place to stay.

It was a pleasant to stay in the hotel and it was neat and clean nothing was wrong the food was also good.To be honest I think itvwas the best hotel in bodhgaya .There is free wifi and the right speed we got from it. So please go I would suggest you all
