Calangute Ocean Wave

The best part about this hotel is its fantastic location—just a short walk (less than half a kilometer) from the main Calangute area. However, for the price we paid (₹2,000 per day in December), I felt it was a bit on the higher side considering the room quality. ₹1,000-1500 per day would be a fair price for this place. That said, the staff was friendly and accommodating, water bottles were complimentary, and the room was clean with a balcony view. The AC worked well, and the washroom was spotless. One downside was that the room was not ready for check-in even by 12:45 PM, which is something that can be improved. Overall, a decent stay if you’re prioritizing location.

Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the Price||I booked Calangute Ocean Wave for a 3-night stay, (24th Dec -27th Dec 2024)expecting decent accommodation based on the 4-star reviews. However, my experience was far from satisfactory.||For ₹4300 per night, I was provided a room with a double bed and no balcony, as there was construction work going on outside. The bathroom had no hot water, and I was given an electric heater that required me to bring the bucket outside the bathroom to heat the water—very inconvenient!||The AC had no remote, the clothes holder inside the bathroom was broken, and the cupboard was already filled with mattresses, leaving no space to keep our luggage. To make matters worse, they provided plastic glasses for drinking water, which felt very cheap and unhygienic for a hotel at this price point.||This review is based solely on the room I was offered, and in my opinion, these rooms should be priced at no more than ₹2500 per night.||Not recommended for families, especially given the lack of basic amenities and comfort.

The worst place to stay on Calangute Beach. The rooms are stinky, and everything is either broken or barely holding together. There’s no hot water for showers, and the staff is highly unprofessional, lacking basic manners in handling guests. The place is more expensive than nearby properties but offers no services at all. Bedsheets and towels have a foul smell, as if they were never properly cleaned. There are no safety measures for children. They provide coils to heat water, claiming hot water will be available the next day, which never happens. I wish I could provide zero to minus rating to this place.

Rooms were good, location is near to beach, but only concern need to improve service in favour of communication. Please maintain one dedicated phone which available in reception area to reach for service.

We have stayed as a couple for 4 days. It was a wonderful stay. The staffs are very supportive and polite. It is very safe stay for family and kids, also for couples. I enjoy the trip and hotel very much. Thank you soo much for the support. House keeping staffs are very helpful. Big thanks to Raju. All other tourist activities are also supported by the staffs. Heart full thanks.

I think if you book your rooms by just looking pictures then you should check first before get check in ass I did the same and it was not as per basic requirement , Rooms are clean but basic things like flush ,door handles are missing ,hot water was not there , staff was not helpful I think as wherever I asked anything there were not interested to look into matter If you are somewhere and if you not getting basic things on proper place I will not not suggest someone again , Loavtion is nearby calangute beach sp that is only good part of this stay otherwise I will not recommending this place, If you just want to stay at night will be Location is good . , Prices are good as compared to others but basic things were not in place so I will not suggest Overall I will rate 1
