Jivana

I used to live in Goa and i was thinking i know every beautiful resort in the area i was living. When we organised a yoga&meditation holidays, i got recommendations from a good friend of mine to book Jivana, it is the best place for Yoga, she said. We came to Jivana resort with a group from Europe and when i first saw it i couldn't believe my eyes - everything was just perfect and exceeded all my expectations! the territory of the resort is so green and lush, cottages are very nicely made, and temple rooms are gorgeous and spacious. Everything was so enjoyable! The yoga shala is magic and spacious, we did yoga and meditation 4 hours every day and sometimes we didn't want to leave it, we felt so peaceful and good. The breakfast was super healthy, with lots of juicy fruits, cereals, local dishes and good coffee and tea. The area for breakfast and diner is beautifully designed, very comfortable area and we could seat there for a long time, tasting delicious food and just resting. Rashmi, the manager, is very sweet lady - welcoming and helpful, she tried to accommodate all our needs. The owner of the place is super friendly and really cares about his guests. All the crew was very nice and friendly. Very important point: it was the best location for a yoga holidays and vacation - peaceful and secluded, away from Goa beaches with loud music and parties. I had a scooter, resort is not far at all to drive to the beach, and the drive trough the village is very pleasant. We will be back, thank you Jivana!

My friend selected Jivana for us to spend a couple days in Goa after a month in India. It was a luxurious treat! Waking up to the birds and the beautiful view of the sunrise was a bonus to the comfortable room and over all lovely surroundings. The food was fresh and delicious! All of the staff I met were friendly and helpful. I can’t wait to return again!||||As a side note to anyone looking for a retreat center to host a retreat, my opinion is that it’s and ideal setting. I’m suggesting it to some of the teachers I know. ||||Thank you for a lovely stay!

Juvana is a beautiful place of authentic natural quiet living. Situated in jungle plantation with a lot of birds and butterfly. It have a great sunrise point with amazing view of Mandrem hills. Eco houses made with good sense of taste , helpful and friendly stuff, spacious yoga hall, local nicely cooked food. Just an amazing place to stay in comfort in authentic village of Goa. Same time you can reach best in Goa’s Mandrem beach in 5 minutes by transport. My favorite place to stay in North Goa (believe me, I tried a lot))

Jivana is by far my favourite place to retreat and relax in Goa. The location is fabulous - a couple of km from the beach and off the busy beaten track - the cottages are all spacious, quiet, and scattered around the jungle like garden. This is a gorgeous, friendly and welcoming resort, the food is wonderful, the team is outstandingly helpful and the yoga shala offers a calm, bright and airy space to practice. If only I could move in.....

A great place in Goa to relax! The bungalows are surrounded from natur and you feel like you are in the jungle. The staff is very very helpful and friendly! The food is great and you will get what ever you want on your plate. The beautiful beaches in Goa you can reach in 5 minutes by taxi ... or you rent a motorbike.

We spent two days here from the 11th September to 13th. Jivana arranged for us to be picked up from the airport which made life so much easier.||It's fair to say that if you're looking for a wild night Jivana isn't probably the place for you. Tucked away in the gorgeous fields Jivana is the place to settle down and catch up on a few winks. As we were jet lagged and wanted to get out and about we rented a scooter for 2 days (800 rupees). With the wind rushing through our hair and the tarmac / pot holes darting around us we set out and about to explore the beautiful scenes!||If you're looking for a chilled time then this is the place for you. I named one of the dogs 'three legs' who liked to chill outside our room, breakfast was a good start to the day, the monkeys playing in the trees above.||Only downside for me was the lack of AC, it was difficult to sleep at night but that aside a nice little place to stay.||Thanks

We found the place thanks to the recommendation of our friends and we can just give our recommendation, too. Place is very lovely and cosy, family atmosphere, very nice personal and owner with his sweet family. Everything is very clean and nice. Breakfast is one of the best part, very yummy and they will bring it to your cottage, so you can enjoy it at your terrace.

I stayed for ten nights in one of the A/C “Temple Suites”. We were a large group staying for a yoga and meditation retreat, and we were extended a wonderful welcome by Robin the owner and his management team. The food was fresh and delicious, and transport to the beaches and restaurants was made very simple by the team who had a good relationship with the local taxi drivers. It is indeed a tropical haven, with WiFi!!
