Wonderful hosts vineet and his wife are exceptional. Nice atmosphere and neat clean rooms. Good place for the family atmosphere to feel home away from home. Direct beach access from the property. Please include dental kit in the bathroom. Also, please keep cupboard outside the bathroom.

**Review of The Cool Huts - Mandrem:** This is my third visit to The Cool Huts in Goa, and I'm pleased to say they’ve made significant improvements since my last stay. With the addition of new huts, the overall experience has become much more comfortable. The rooms are quite spacious, providing ample space to relax, and the toilets are clean and well-maintained, which is always a plus. One of the best things about The Cool Huts is its prime location—it’s just a short walk away from the peaceful and picturesque Mandrem Beach, which remains uncrowded and perfect for a serene getaway. Having Dunes shack nearby adds a wonderful touch to the stay, offering delicious food and a vibrant atmosphere, making it easy to enjoy meals without having to venture far. The highlight of the experience, though, is the hospitality of the owner, Vineet, and his family. They are genuinely warm and welcoming, always ensuring that guests are comfortable and well taken care of. Their politeness and friendliness make every visit special. I’m already looking forward to my next trip and will definitely be staying at The Cool Huts again when I return to Mandrem!

COOL HUTS is not a perfect place, but then nothing in life is perfect! We were 3 couples: All senior citizens. The place is nice but the people running it (Vinit and Priti) are even nicer and very accommodating. The steaming hot vegetarian food their chef provided daily was just sumptuous! Ranjan, Kashi and Neha were amazing helpers too. The room cleaning staff was also great. I forgot their names. They do, however, need a reliable driver like Dhruv to drive the guests around. The access to beach is very convenient. Provides a lot of privacy and quiet time. A ton of white foreigners in the area...mostly Russians....feels as if you are overseas! If you want good place and service at a good price, search no further. You will not regret it.

Booked for Christmas weekend with friends. Its a small cozy place with access to the beach with limited crowd. Rooms are tidy and well equipped. They serve morning breakfast which was lovely. The behaviour of the owner, chef and the service guys was very hospitable. Places like Arambhol beach, sweet water lake and garden of dreams are nearby. Totally worth the price.

This is my second day here and my soul is forcing me to review them asap. So I booked it via an online portal and went to the place like 5 mins after, and experienced the smoothest checkin possible (NO FUSS ABOUT IDs ...) . I travel a lot , so my biggest concern is bedsheets with "oil marks", to be surprised there was literally none. I booked it for a fair price that too during the season (Friday was off, followed by Saturday and sunday). The owner is so kind and humble, I can't even tell you. He reduced the price for me on the second day itself, without any commitment about the no of days. Now, the staff who are making me feel like a VIP. The cook was having her food while I came to get some water, she stood up and got me the water (With a smile on her face) We ordered some Palak paneer for dinner. They were out of Palak but got that stuff in the middle of the night. To add up, my breakfast was served in my room. If you are a passive aggressive introvert like me, this place is for you. 100/5 stars. You can mention my name 'Vikrant' on the reception, for a friendly discount. Edit : I still haven't been elaborate enough, the staff is lovely. From the Palak paneer to the Noodles (on the second night), its delicious ! You definitely come here!

Me and my boyfriend stayed for 10 days in the cool huts. He also went here last year and decided to come back because of his good experience. There are about 10 huts, and there is direct access to the beach. The huts are nice, cute, and clean. Our hut had AC and a fan, that worked both fine. The stay includes breakfast, that is home-cooked by one of the older ladies that works there, and she cooks something different every day. We missed quite some breakfasts, but the ones we had were really good. This stay is run by a small family, which is very polite, friendly, and hospitable. They live in a house in at the premises, and there is someone around for 24 hours. That was good for us, as we locked ourselves out a few times. The other services are good too. We could ask for clean sheets and cleaning every day, and a laundry service is available. One day, we had the luck that they harvested the coconut tree in front of our hut, and we received a freshly cut coconut! The only thing that I didn’t like, is that the huts are not completely closed; there are small holes in the corners. One day there was heavy rain, and the water got into our room. Also, we found some very small frogs jumping around our room for a few times. I don’t mind them, so we didn’t ask for another hut. Out of the rainy season, I think you will not have any of these problems. All in all, I would say the price-quality balance of the cool huts are a very good deal. You stay with a local family, have direct access too the beach and stay in a truly cool hut! Thank you Vineet, for having us!

Friendly and helpful host. Clean rooms. Forthcoming staff..they ask if u need anything without you having to chase them. Walkable to the beach. Beach shacks, cafes and restaurants nearby for sundowners. Parking for two cars available. sumptious breakfast given, which many hotels in Goa do not provide. Good value for money.
