Babu Beach Resort

We loved staying here. Rooms are spacious and clean. Bed is comfortable. Staff is attentive. Food and cocktails are delicious and the restaurant is right by the beach so you can go for walks and look at sunsets anytime you like. Perfect for a family vacation. Small areas of improvement - The plumbing could be better, cold tap gave hot water most of the times. In room kettle and tea bags are available on request but could be a standard thing. Food and cocktails are a bit pricey.

This resort was just amazing good service and specially chicken and prawn. Fried rice is excellent taste. The food quality they are maintaining very well. The next day I enjoyed the breakfast they served and they are maintaining well staff to attract people. Their behaviour was kind good experience with this resort.

My wife and I have been regular visitors to the Morjim-Ashvem-Mandrem belt for years. Babu has been on our bucket list but somehow it just didn't work out until this visit in November 2024. We are staying in the AC room and I'm writing this review from the resort's sunbed. The room is fantastic and well furnished. The bed and pillows are some of the best I have ever encountered in any hotel. Sleep quality is amazing. The room could do with a luggage rack though. We ended up putting our suitcases on the floor. Small niggle but worth addressing. There's no television, though I did see wiring for cable TV but honestly TV in Goa seems like a waste of time in my opinion. The closet is in the bathroom which is quite nice and chic in a bohemian sort of way. Adding an exhaust fan would be a good idea. Water pressure is low but manageable. Toiletries do not include toothbrushes and toothpaste. We prefer to use our own so that didn't bother us. The liquid soap, shampoo and hand wash is of excellent quality though. Drinking water in the rooms is provided in glass bottles which are refilled on request so that's a nice touch. One small step towards sustainable living. We haven't ordered any bottled water until now. Coming to the restaurant, food is very tasty and freshly prepared but portion sizes are quite small. Complimentary breakfast is adequate and includes brewed, not instant coffee; so that is a very big plus. The restaurant staff is efficient and friendly but unintrusive. Personally I like it that way. Housekeeping is very good. The entire property is very clean and uncluttered. We have another two days here but I'm already dreading checking out and heading back to the rat race. Ashvem is truly paradise on earth.

The beach shack and café at Babu beach resort is tranquil and a perfect place to recharge one's battery with some sun and surf.

Great bungalows, awesome people at the reception. The best food in the restaurant. I also liked that they don’t use plastic water bottles , they provide water in glass bottles in the rooms and in the restaurant and you can always refill them.

I went to Ashvem beach for an evening walk. Was hungry so found Babu Beach Resort's shack. It looked with very compact with nice lighting. I entered there with a friend. We were super hungry so ordered Baked Mushroom in Cheesy Pesto sauce, Kalamari and a soup. We also ordered a Cheese Garlic Naan. The naan was the main highlight as I haven't tasted something so good and nice . The baked Mushroom dish was amazing, just the way I wanted - cheesy & melt in mouth. My friend loved the kalamari. I also ordered a Ginger Lemon tea as the weather was chilly. For dessert we got a Nutella Banana Crepe which tasted delicious as well. I absolutely loved the vibe of the place. It was very quiet, had an amazing beach view and was peaceful. I would definitely want to go back.

Delicious but small portions double the price compared to other places in the area. Good music and perfect sunset view.

Its an excellent property. We enjoyed a lot in swimming pool with family and have a great time in this resort. I am giving 5 starts to this resort….
