Hotel Carrefour

Everything this here was good except the reception of guests. They saw us out from the cab but dint come to carry bags. We reached 3 hours before check-in time as trains don't work as per check ins but the waiting lobby was very uncomfortable. The receptionists had no smile on their face nor tried to make my parents (senior citizens) feel comfortable while waiting. Dint offer to have breakfast while waiting. They just made us feel bad for turning in early. Rest of the staff were excellent though and their food was awesome. Our stay was pleasant though only negative was that the bathrooms were slippery as the cleaning was not done properly. But 24 hrs hot water, spacious rooms, good food and well trained staff (except our reception and receptionists) were awesome and i would recommend others who want to live close to the station and major attractions

The hotel ambience is good. The rooms do smell pungent a bit when you enter, but the room is comfortable and hygienic. Hotel location is also very convenient to market and local attractions as well as good local connectivity

Disgusting. Pre booked, pre paid room refused at the time of checkin and tried to accomodate in the nearby property which has very small rooms and of much lesser cost. Reason provided was that some existing guest has taken 1 extra room and they dont have more rooms. Went with a family of 4 including small kids. Manager - Ashif Shaikh refused to provide room at the checkin at 9 pm and was very rude. Told us to leave the hotel if they dont want other property. Finally had to call the police, then out of fear, they provided the room. Have never seen such a case in any hospitality industry anywhere.

Their pot had shit stains, so I had to call reception to have it cleaned which means they don’t do a through check. Additionally, after 11 PM, they didn’t allow my children to see their mother, citing a “no visitors after 11 PM” policy, and they communicated this in a very rude manner. After that, I booked a room at the Four Points by Sheraton nearby, and we had no issues there. The rooms felt like those in a 5-star hotel.

Very very rude behaviour of the front desk staff. Specially Mr Aijaz at front desk. Non cooperative behaviour of all the staff. Had to call 2-3 times to clean the room everytime. Very low quality food. I strongly recommend to not stay in this hotel in Ahmedabad.

Had a pleasant 3 day stop as a solo traveller. Staff is cordial and ambience is good. Its not too far from the airport, all in all satisfactory stay.

Stayed here for a night. Facilities & services were ok but nothing significant. Front desk did its job and were not friendly. Rooms were clean but had a foul smell, when informed about it - the staff sprayed the air freshener. Later we realized the foul smell was from the freshener itself 😂 & somehow passed the night. Restaurant was pretty small & service was good with attentive staff.
