Ginger Surat (City Center)

Ginger Surat is located bang opposite Surat Railway Station a very convenient location for travellers. The bus stand is even closer, and there are plenty of restaurants and a famous ice cream parlour just outside the hotel.||Coming to the hotel, the entrance feels welcoming and lively. You’ll likely be greeted by Mr. Samir, a young and very helpful multitasker who seems to manage multiple responsibilities single-handedly, as the hotel clearly runs with limited staff.||My room was on the 1st floor, where there’s also a small but decent gym and a beautifully designed enclosed lobby decorated with antique furniture a nice touch. However, the room size was a bit disappointing. Though the booking mentioned 22 sqm (around 220 sq ft), it felt closer to 180 sq ft quite compact for double occupancy. The washroom was clean but very small.||What surprised me most was that the hotel doesn’t provide body lotion not in the washroom, not even on request. For an IHCL managed property, that was quite unexpected.||Breakfast is served on the first floor and is managed by a third party. The spread was just okay nowhere near the standard of other IHCL hotels. Due to third-party catering, the service and setup felt more like a local business. To add to that, they had run out of eggs and couldn’t serve any that morning. The staff shortage was clearly visible as they struggled to manage the crowd.||Overall Rating: 3/5|A convenient stay if you need quick access to the railway station, but don’t expect the usual IHCL experience here.

We stayed at Ginger Surat opposite to Surat railway station. Very reasonable rooms and were neat and clean with all necessary amenities like refrigerator, locker, cupboard, sofa, bed, study table with rotating chair. Food was also very tasty. Nadim was a very good host at the restaurant. He gave a very good service at the restaurant. Gym facility is also available but no swimming pool here. My daughter missed the pool. Otherwise a nice place to stay if you are visiting surat.

Hotel Ginger Surat is a good place to stay near Surat Railway Station. It is easy to find and very close to the station, which is helpful for people coming by train. The hotel is clean and well-maintained. Rooms are small but comfortable, with air conditioning, TV, and free Wi-Fi. The bathrooms are clean and have all the needed items. The staff are polite and helpful. They try to make your stay smooth and comfortable. Check-in and check-out are quick. The hotel also has a small restaurant where you can get tasty food. The breakfast has both Indian and simple continental dishes. The hotel looks modern and is suitable for both business and family stays. It also has a small gym and meeting area. Safety and cleanliness are well taken care of. One small issue is that the rooms are not very big, and the parking area is limited. But overall, it is a neat and comfortable place to stay near the railway station. Hotel Ginger Surat deserves a 4-star rating for its good service, clean rooms, and excellent location.

I recently stayed at Ginger Surat City Center and had a fantastic experience! The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the city, making it very convenient for both business and leisure travelers. The rooms are modern, clean, and well-maintained, with all the essential amenities provided.||The staff was courteous, professional, and always ready to help. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. I especially appreciated the prompt housekeeping and room service.||The in-house restaurant served a good variety of dishes, and the breakfast buffet had plenty of options to choose from – both Indian and continental. Everything was fresh and tasty.||What stood out the most was the overall value for money. For the price, you get excellent service, comfort, and convenience. I would definitely recommend Ginger Surat City Center to anyone visiting Surat and would love to stay here again!

We always stay at this hotel when we attend an amnual event heald in Zampa Bazar. The loxarion is perfect for us - walking distance to the railway station , lots of food options (including Zaiqa in the hotel) and easy to get to and backnfrom Zampa by auto rickshaw. Its a basic hotel, 2 or 3 star at best by UK standards. Rooms are simple but tidy. Bathroom a little tight. Shower is great but water spills out all iver the floor. Food at Zaiqa is great - simple menu but tasty and good value. The staff are brilliant and this place has become home from home for us. I have only given 2 stars for value as they double tge rates due to demand during our visit. Usual rates are around £30 but Agoda charged us nearer to £70. Its still the best option without staying near the airport which is too far away.

Special thanks to Assistant Hotel Manager Mr. Silabhadra, who was extremely attentive, approachable, and ensured every guest’s need was taken care of with great efficiency. His personal involvement in making guests feel comfortable really stood out.I would also like to appreciate Front Office Executive Mr. Biswajit Nayak, who welcomed me with a warm smile and handled check-in and check-out seamlessly.

I recently stayed at Ginger Surat City Center and overall had a very good experience,The room service was prompt and efficient.The housekeeping staff took care to keep the room clean, neat, and well-stocked. I appreciated that they tidied up without disturbing my rest.The room amenities were adequate and well-maintained. Everything was working fine, and the bed was comfortable.Breakfast at Ginger was a delight—lots of variety, fresh items, and good quality,The staff (Sitaram, Tarun, Amit) at the breakfast buffet were attentive, always ensuring the serving area was clean and replenished.The food tasted good and looked presentable.All in all, Ginger Surat City Center delivered a comfortable stay with strong food service. The room service staff were efficient and courteous
