Avoid at All Costs – Worst Hotel Experience at Ginger near Surat Station One of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had. This place lacks even basic professionalism. The reception staff was utterly rude and untrained. Just because my spouse and I have different surnames, they had the audacity to question whether we were married — an absolutely unacceptable and invasive behavior. It felt like a complete violation of privacy. The parking situation is horrible — it’s literally in a garbage-filled basement, extremely filthy and cramped. The road leading to the parking is narrow, dirty, and difficult to access. Rooms are unbelievably tiny, like matchboxes. Bedsheets were stained and clearly unwashed, and the room had a strange foul smell that made it hard to breathe. It was difficult to get any comfort or peace here. The overall experience was appalling — third-class hotel with third-class service. The reception had zero hospitality skills and no clue how to treat customers. If you value your comfort, hygiene, privacy, or even basic decency, do not book this hotel. There are far better options in Surat for the same or even lower price.

Room was fantastic, service was really quick and on time, specially Sitaram fro Hotel Restaurant served well during breakfast time. Also restaurant is serving fast room service when ordered any food from room. Thank you so much for such nice experience.

I stayed at Ginger Hotel Surat during a recent solo trip and had a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The hotel is conveniently located, with easy access to key areas of the city, and maintains good hygiene and safety standards. I' d also especially like to appreciate Mr. Samir Raj, front desk executive. He were extremely courteous, professional, and went out of their way to make my stay more comfortable. It’s rare to see such genuine hospitality, and their attitude truly stood out.

Stayed in the hotel for a week in May 2025. Staff was attentive & prompt. Had some issue with the room first allocated, however the same was addressed quickly & room change was done. Special requests like late checkout, housekeeping on requested time were duly acknowledged & addressed. Support from housekeeping staff and front desk Mr. Sameer raj for making stay hassle free and comfortable as even after checkout i had requested waiting till departure. Location of the property near station is also a key. Would recommend the property for stay.

The breakfast was quite good and delicious. Made fresh breakfast and the staff was on time. Particularly Sitaram. He has done a great job servicing us breakfast.

Good experience with in Restaurant with Sitaram . Lot of improvement is required in this property. The management has to schedule periodical intensive inspection of rooms e.g.. the sofa was not clean. in my room 426. The fan and AC were making noise, etc. The property has immense potential but has to be properly managed. Thanks and best wishes !!!

I had a wonderful solo stay at Ginger Surat City Center in April 2025. The location is perfect, right opposite the railway station which made travel super convenient. The rooms were clean and modern, and the pillows were the fluffiest I’ve ever felt—made sleeping very relaxing! The staff was polite and helpful throughout my stay. The overall experience was excellent, and I would definitely recommend it for both business and leisure travelers.
