Hotel Royal Vadodara

We had booked two rooms for stay. In one room there weren't any water coming in bathroom and eventhough we informed them they didn't do anything. Also We extended the stay till evening as we had to visit Statue of unity. They asked for almost same cost per day as rent even though we didn't needed overnight stay. They were rude in front of children also. I wouldn't recommend this as a friendly hotel.

Really bad experience. Not good service, breakfast is real bad, and room cleaning is bad, bathroom amenities is not good. They don't respect guest. Also high price. I feel like guesthouse in this hotel. Cheap hotel.

Stay away from this horrible place. Everything bar you can think of will be here. Dirty room - ✅ Rude staff - ✅ Dirty bathroom - ✅ Bad bed - ✅✅ Even bathroom has no lock from inside. Went with my family at 12am, somehow spent the night and escaped right at 7am.

Check-in The staff was very rude. We had senior citizens and kids in the group. We had just reached the hotel after a 8 hour journey from Mumbai. The front desk kept insisting on providing aadhar for all guests although we had provided for our valid ID proof viz. PAN, Driving license. Rooms The rooms were in a bad state. The room curtains had not been washed for ages. The AC worked but not in a good way. We had ordered additional bed for our kids - the extra beds which were provided were of pathetic condition. We had stayed on 24 December 2021. Whilst it was winter season, the hotel room does not have geysers. Hot water is provided only after 7 am in morning which comes directly in taps. There were even small cockroaches in one of our 4 rooms. Overall, it was an unpleasant stay at this hotel. My entire family was unhappy with the entire experience at this hotel. I would rate it to be 3 out of 10.

Hotel's location is at city center, but hotel is too old, furniture and amenities are not so good but affordable and low cost stay suitable just for a day or so. all the market and connectivity to major destinations of the city is nearby.

To begin with the receptionist was a shady guy and his behaviour was quite unwelcoming. That set the ball rolling. The room was clean but not the linen on the bed. The room and hotel clearly said we are old. The pricing however was not very less, what with us having to pay 1000 plus for a double room. I don't say it was much, but it wasn't too less too. One saving grace was the big balcony space which we couldn't use coz of lack of time. It will be fun to sit and chill there in winters. If u r not adventurous and outgoing then avoid this hotel. If u r like me friendly and outgoing as well as bold enough to take the bull by the हॉर्न then choose this one just for the lesser price and basic facilities. Also location is decent distance from station and bus stop.

Well the people said that it is in prime location of the city. Surrounded by other few good hotels in the area. But from outside it looks big and fabulous but once you go in you'll see it is old construction but yes the renovation or the maintenance done is very right. The breakfast is fixed for the complete week and if you wish not to go with the fix menu then they are happy to serve against bread/toast butter. For a day or two this hotel serves the job but for long period of time I would have given it a thought.

The hotel management and hotel staff were extremely helpful and cooperative. Our room AC was making horrendous noise at night and thus we had to shut it off. The second night we simply did not switch it on. But then, proactively, the hotel staff, shifted us to a better room with split AC. But nobody from OYO ever bothered to contact us.
