Hotel The Vaikunth - Hotel in Mcleodganj

Rooms wise very good hotel, hotel staff was also polite and attentive, but I didn't get any complimentary things which were promised on my cleartrip booking. When I requested them, they provided me another room with a hill view. Location wise it is also much downhill from the main square so some walking is required every time you get out of the hotel. Didn't order anything since I found cheaper food and vibe outside rather than at the hotel.

The vibe of the place is so warm and welcoming, thanks to the incredibly helpful and kind staff who made every moment comfortable and memorable. The food? Absolutely delicious! Every meal felt like a soulful experience. What’s more, there’s something almost miraculous about this place– every trace of joint or muscle pain my family had simply vanished as if the mountains had whispered some healing charm. The markets nearby are vibrant and colorful, selling the most beautiful clothes, spiritual items, and unique home décor pieces you’d want to carry back to keep a part of McLeodganj with you. And the places I visited– monasteries and temples echoing with chants, crystal-clear waterfalls, charming local markets– they were nothing short of otherworldly. The cold breeze, the mesmerizing morning and night views, the soothing quiet, everything about this town in the July–August monsoon mist feels dreamlike. Honestly, I didn’t want to return back. I fell head over heels in love with this place. A week is the perfect time to soak it all in and feel the magic; because trust me, there is magic here. If you haven’t planned a trip to Vaikunth Hotel in McLeodganj yet, you’re missing out on a slice of heaven right here on Earth.

Stay was comfortable - in one room with a Mountain View AC was dripping water . Breakfast is a total waste of money . Very tasteless breakfast - no juices , no cereals , no eggs to order , no bread on table . Same spread everyday of Paratha, Puri Alu , haldi filled tasteless Poha . Only fruit papaya served everyday . Most dishes were empty throughout the buffet.

The rooms are old and not very well-maintained and the cleanliness was only okay. The location and the staff are very nice though.

It was a great experience at hotel the Vaikunth. Rooms were clean and a great view of the mountain. It's a family hotel and great place to stay for Vacations in Mcleodganj.Also food was very tasty

Hotel is super neat, clean. The mountain view rooms are amazing. Stuff is always helpful, kind and understanding. I love the breakfast a lot. Diversity in the menu. Stays in the best location. You can explore the market area and all the restaurants just by walking.
