Hotel King Castle

Wonderful Stay in McLeodganj! It was truly a pleasant journey — one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had! The cleanliness of the hotel is top-notch, and the food was absolutely delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and respectful, always ready to help with a smile. The hotel also has excellent facilities including secure parking, a smooth-functioning lift, and an efficient heating and cooling system everything was well maintained and comfortable. I will definitely visit again and highly recommend this hotel to my friends and family!

I recently stayed at Hotel King Castle in McLeodganj, and honestly, it was one of those experiences that stays with you long after the trip ends. From the moment I checked in, everything just felt… right. The staff was genuinely warm and welcoming — not the scripted kind of polite, but the kind where you feel like you’re being taken care of by someone who actually enjoys hosting guests. They were always just a call away for anything — be it food recommendations, travel tips, or even helping us get a cab in a rush.

The room was neat and clean and well maintained and the location and the balcony view was also very good but I am not happy with the staff because I called the reception and the receptionist was a lady who picked up the call. I asked her if there were any indoor games but she just cut the call

The property is perfectly located near the McLeod Gang monastery and a short walk to all the outdoor shops. The views from the rooms are stellar, and the staff is so courteous and professional. Sonya, the concierge manager is really fantastic and makes you feel like a special guest at this truly beautiful hotel. Highly recommended!

I had a great experience at King Castle. Everything worked as it should. It had hot showers and a really good aircon which warmed the room up nicely. The bed was extremely comfortable I found to location to be perfect. Just a short walk from the Mcleodganji main area. The staff were always friendly and approachable. They were really flexible and we were able to negotiate a late check-out agreement that worked for everyone. You can tell how much they care about the guest's experience. I'd be happy to stay there on my next trip here.

Food quality good. Room are not good specially Washrooms. Stairs are also not clean. We stayed for two days in june 2025.

Highly recommend hotel. Staff was really friendly and the room was really clean. They book us an taxi from ans back to the airport. Room service food was really good and the views from our room was stunning. Also really quite at night, we have really restfull time there. Thanks so much!
