Hotel Varuni Mcleodganj

I recently stayed at this hotel and had an overall great experience. The service was excellent, with staff going out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained. One of the highlights was the stunning view from my room, which made waking up every morning a real treat. The location is another plus, as it’s conveniently close to major attractions and local spots, making it easy to explore the area without needing to travel far.||Breakfast was delicious, with a good variety of options to suit different tastes. I appreciated that they offered two-wheelers for rent, which made exploring the surrounding areas even more convenient. This added feature is perfect for those who want to get around quickly without relying on public transport or taxis.||One minor area of improvement could be to offer more diverse breakfast options, especially for longer stays. However, this didn’t detract much from the overall experience. If you’re looking for a hotel that offers comfort, convenience, and great views at an affordable price, I would highly recommend staying here. I look forward to returning on my next visit!

Fantastic stay! This hotel offers excellent services and is conveniently located in the heart of McLeodganj. There are no parking hassles, and the rooms are equipped with all the modern amenities you could need. The washrooms are spotless, and the view from the balcony is simply breathtaking. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit to McLeodganj.

This was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had. I had to book this hotel due to limited options during a busy period, and after seeing the promising photos on hotel booking sites, I decided to go for it but the rooms looked nothing like the pictures online. It felt like staying in an old, poorly maintained building. The room was stinky, with broken tiles on the floor. Curtains were filthy, stained, & dirty. wallpaper peeling off the walls. The washroom door wouldn't even lock. The only good thing was the terrace, but I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place for couples or families

Wonderful stay. Walkable distance to Dalai Lama temple. Reception staff is very responsive and quick service without any delays. Food is also good. They can still improve by changing their blankets as they smell a little.

It was once in a lifetime experience for me at hotel Varuni. The staff was really supportive and at your service anytime. Not to forget about the quality of food that they serve is best so far at any hotel in hill stations. Thank you the owner of Hotel Varuni Mr. Shekhar Lamba ji for taking care of us like a family. Rooms and service have met the expectations fully. Behaviour of all staff & the M.D. , Mr. Shekhar is a polite and decent man. He remains available 24*7 if you have any issues you can contact him anytime. Good location. Cook is good. Rooms are always good. You will get a big terrace at the top of the hotel & the views are so beautiful. Highly recommended for Couples/Friends/Family. 5 out of 5. Thank you Shekhar once again.

The hotel is located near the Main Temple: it takes about 5 minutes to go there. The room was big, and there was a great view from the terrace. The staff tried to help me in various ways but was not at all disturbing.

Beautiful and lovely stay at the property with a lovely scenic view. Loved the hospitality and the reception desk. Very prompt with all the services. Food was eatable like home, so overall a wonderful experience at Varuni.
