Great service and great view but , you have to climb down stairs to reach the hotel and no parking service

rooms on top floor have a great view. The staff , manager and assisstant, are both extremely helpful on every issue. Due to a technical issue there was a double booking by mistake. The manager without hesitation did everything to correct it with the booking ageny, though it was an inconvenient task and not easy. Comfortable stay.

Hotel Hill Town staff were extremely kind to me. I became ill and very debilitated while in McLeod Ganj and, as I could hardly walk, they brought tea and water daily. I messaged them about my needs on WhatsApp. For meals, I had to order in daily from Jimmy's Asian Kitchen which has excellent food! The manager did shopping errands for me at the beginning when I was incapable, and gave me a lift on his scooter when I needed to go to an ATM for cash. All in all, I am very grateful for the kind assistance I received at Hotel Hill Town. My room and bed were clean and comfortable, too.

We are group of 30 people stay for 2 nights. Location is perfect rooms are very clean hot water running very well staffs are very friendly and helpfull. The stairs little long Bud good for exercise especially good for who have diabetics. CHUNDI Sherpa

Being a budget hotel, the services that were offered at the price we got, was very good! Food was not so good, and the hotel is down a long flight of stairs. But the view was scintillating, and so was the behaviour of the staff :) . Plus, the room was very clean and nice. ||||Must be among your choices if you plan on visiting McLeodganj.

The room was smallish but impeccably clean and had a balcony with a great view. Reliable wi-fi. Getting there from Jogiwara Rd involves walking a steep set of steps, so it's not an option for people with mobility problems.||All rooms are basically the same, the choice is only between rooms with balcony (and view) and without. Rooms upstairs have a broader view and cost a bit more. The balconies have no chairs but they were provided on request.||The common area is very small, so it's rather not a place to meet other travellers and socialize.||The only drawback - our room on the highest floor was located next to the kitchen, with ventilation pumping exhaust fumes towards our balcony and window. It would have probably been a better idea to stay on a lower floor, even with somewhat more limited view.||Warning: very slippery floor in the bathroom!

We had booked a deluxe room which does not have any view from window. The room was good & clean. But the seat of the western toilet in bathroom was loose. The hotel is located at a 10 min walk from main square, but you have to get down a lot of steps from Jogiwara road to actually reach the hotel. So book this hotel only if you have no problem in going up & down on steps.
