OYO 33096 Hotel Chandertal

I have gone through those proceeding reviews but the present scenario says that the hotel fulfills all your necessity. The manager and staff are very friendly and polite. Their food are always as per your choice and healthy. Water and electricity are always available unless there is any solid reason. Rooms are specious, well furnished and hygienic too. We really have enjoyed our every moment there.

So I checked into the property late in the evening of 5 Oct 2016. I called in and asked them to get some dinner ready for me which they did. Great! ||||I arrived (with my family) and first impressions were this was not as I had expected the hotel / rooms to be basis my reviews. I had seen pics on the internet and they didnt match what I was shown. The rooms (I had booked three) looked as if they were not maintained well. The pillows were 'dirty' but had very clean pillow cases. The carpet (yes the rooms had carpets) were unclean. Had I checked in earlier in the day, I would probably have opted for another hotel. But since it was late and I had my aged in-laws with me, I had no option but to adjust. ||||The hotel looks like it has seen better days. All it needs is good maintainence - perhaps a good administrator. As it is, I would not recommend this property.

We arrved late at night. They welcomed us and provided tiffin as it was late. But it was not so good and we told them for 14 person's food bt it was not that much. Hotel managing staff was very rude and unpleasant except one or two. It felt like they were doing a favor by proving us with the accommodation. Hotel in reality is not even zero star. Meal space is less so waiting queue for meal and breakfast. When we gave them feedback about their services, instead of taking it in positive way they told us not to come there again if we are not satisfied. Very bad attitude.

Do not book here. 1)When I reached the hotel I was welcomed with an awful sewer smell on the front gate. 2) Hotel food was a punishment for the mouth. 3) There was no electricity backup so when there was a power cut ,which is more than frequent in Manali, I went into the stone ages. 4) Hotel infrastructure was very poor and one can see paint coming off the walls at many places and it felt like the entire structure can come down anytime. 5) Hotel did not provide toiletries for reasons best known to them. 6) Hotel managing staff was very rude and unpleasant. It felt like they were doing a favor by proving me with the accommodation. 7) Hotel claims to be a two star but in reality it is not even zero star.

There is a saying that himachali people are polite and down to earth, you won't find these qualities in this cottage.||Ambience.... *|Location...... *|Room service.. *|Cleanliness... *|Food.... **|Services.... *||Very ordinary rooms like a lodge. Small room dirty washroom.|We stayed for 2 nights and nobody came to clean the room.|The biggest problem I found is the location of this cottage. This cottage is in the last corner of Aleo. The auto drivers will charge you 200-250 one side from mall road. But you won't find any auto from this cottage for mall road.|The owner gave us a deal in which breakfast and dinner was inclusive of the package. They told us they will serve a buffet but In dinner buffet there was only 1dal and 1 vegetable with no dessert..|They don't serve nonveg as well. WiFi won't work.|||Please avoid this hotel.

Horrible Experience with this hotel. Don't go with this hotel services are very bad totally unprofessional management and arrogant peoples. If you don’t have habit of bed tea then its ok because the first service which they provide is tea at 9:00 am which is serve at restaurant you can’t expect it at your room. The services close after 11:30 pm if you need even drinking water you need to wait till 9:00 am. Food menu dinner/Lunch||Dinner timing 9:00 pm to 10:00 pm (after that they do not serve, Service is available at restaurant only no room service)||Tawa roti(Sukhi roti without butter or anything)||Aloo muttor ki sabji||Jali hui pili daal||Chawal||||Breakfast menu||Cold Aloo paratha / pawbhaji ||||This is their daily service.||Cable is not working, intercom is not working you need to reach at reception for everything. Very hard mattress. If you complain to the manager he will say sir “Manali hai yaha to aise hi hota hai”||||Only two thing are good in this hotel first is location and second is rooms, but hygiene is not maintained. Smelling rooms and dustbin is full of biri and Cigarette stomach.

Hotel Chander Tal Manali is one of the comfortable and luxury hotels. The hotel staff is very adjusting, we reach their mid-night near 2.00 am. The receptionist welcomed us and provide all the necessary things in our room. I very glad to stay at your hotel.

So we 3 friends came manali to celebrate our new year eve.. and we had our first encounter with hotel chandertal to be honest it was my one of the bestest trip ever , and hotel chandertal made this trip way more special.. let me start with the services of this resturant .. the services are so excellent you can't even imagine ... the food is so excellent and yumm that you'll not miss your home , than the helper bhaiya and the room keeper everything is so well organised i can't even express in words.. now the most important person i had an encounter with in this hotel is mr. Praveen sharma the manager of the hotel... he is such a nice, humble and corporative guy, who is so dedicated towards his services and profession... he tooks cares of his guest so well... it's rare to find such golden hearted person these days ... we had an amazing time with him too , now he is more like an elder brother to us , bhaiya if you're reading this than trust me you are the bestest person i had came across with ... your team is also the best team ... send our hi to all your team too .. we'll surely have a visit soon again ...
