Safarnama Homestay Hotel in Manali with Best Mountain View Rooms and Manali Tours

*Disappointing stay due to undisclosed food issues* I recently stayed at this Homestay and was disappointed to find that the owner didn't mention food-related problems beforehand. During my stay, I encountered non availability of food anywhere near the Homestay, the food issues made my stay uncomfortable. I wish the owner had been more transparent about these challenges when I booked. I hope they will consider disclosing this information in the future to help guests better prepare. *Rating:* 1 star

The way to reach the homestay is a bit confusing and if you are with family, be ready to get tired and frustrated just to reach the property. The caretaker is a scammer dude, who will demand compensation from the guest, for the supposed "lost key of the lock" which he never gave you.

It was the worst service that i had ever experienced in any hotel. The caretaker's behaviour was very rude. The walking distance from parking to the homestay was very long and tiring.

Me and my partner, we just loved the vibe of the stay! So authentic with a beautiful view from the top. The service is brilliant as the host had already told us about the narrow road to their property, but its not too long, and definitely worth the 2 min hassle! 10/10 would recommend this place if you want a quiet space to yourself!

I stayed here for a day with my wife, a friend, & his mother Pros 1. Excellent View - Absolutely Unmatched 2. Offbeat Location away from the crowd 3. A chance to explore & live close to the locals 4. Reasonably Price & Clean well-furnished rooms Cons 1. This place is away, far away from the main market. Reaching there is a task! 2. Some of the rooms do not have an attached bathroom! Please check with the owner about this! 3. If you are looking for Touristy Luxury, this is not the place All in all, if you are looking for a long peaceful stay, & you are not very particular about minor inconveniences. This is a good place If you like everything to be around you, this is not a place you want to stay at

The view is amazing. You can see the snow mountain and enjoy the view anytime. Also local people are good so that you can hangout and learn a new culture. Now let me tell you what’s issue we faced - first of all the room service is very bad. Better arrange your own things. It’s far from main road and may be you have to walk a lot. Don’t opt for food service, they will charge you like anything. Also caretaker or other staff may misguide you and ask for money. Don’t fall in that trap. Overall it’s a great stay there, no complains just some suggestions who so ever want to go there. For staying a month and enjoying the view it’s a good home stay in Manali.

Everything was amazing. The staff went the extra mile to make our stay special. They blessed us with a complimentary drink each, chocolates and a hand written card for our wedding anniversary. It was a very special touch. The cleaners were also lovely. would highly recommend staying here. We’ll be back for sure. The location was great and view from the room incredible. We loved it. ”
