Hotel Whistling Winds

Pathetic rooms and pathetic location. Highly unsafe for family with kids. The hotel is at a height where my Thar could barely reach nearby. You have to climb 100 staircases to reach the pathetic room. The room is extremely non hygenic and not clean at all. The bedsheet and quilt are not clean. No heater geyser kettle working at all. Only good thing was the person helped us to bring the luggage down to the road via those 100 staircases so that I could search for another hotel. The person also lied about the location.

We climbed almost 4 floors of dangerous and uneven stairs without any safety railing just to reach the ground floor of hotel. Room is dirty and bedsheet have stains and hairs on it. Would not recommend this place to anyone

Excellent hotel to stay. Look from the room's balcony and the rooftop of hotel is just amazing. Haven't tried the food and other stuffs. But, it's surely a value for money.

This is a family / couple friendly hotel at affordable price. Highly recommend for everyone. We really enjoyed our stay here. Rooms: Our room was big, neat and clean. It had all basic facilities like TV, Gyser, Cupboard, Chairs, Study table etc. Only thing the natural light was less and room was very cold in the night. Service: Very happy & satisfied with the service. Staff is very cooperative. Special thanks to Paras who helped the best way possible and made our stay very comfortable. Food: At the top floor they have good dining area. Food was very tasty and at reasonable price. All the items that we ordered were very tasty but Dal khichadi was out standing. My tummy was full but mouth was hungry....... Location: Superb location.... surround by mountains and local houses. The mall road and market is at just 2 mins walkable distance. Lot of options available nearby for rental bikes. The hotel is at some height and provides very scenic & beautiful view of mountains & Manali from their big, open & common terrace. The common terrace is adjacent to dining hall, we enjoyed our breakfast, lunch with beautiful surrounding view. Thanks Paras and all staff for making our stay comfortable. We would visit Whistling Winds again in our next trip to Manali.

Overall experience was pathetic First of all it was showing much less price and after making the Booking when we went there to check in they straight away demanded extra money...website was showing breakfast is included in the package which they completely denied and demanded more money. We wanted to extend our stay for a night but again they demanded extra money this time more than double of wht the amount was showing. The behaviour of the hotel attendant was not at all good being myself from hospitality industry i could see how badly they are managing their guest. Not gonna comeback or recommend this to anyone 👎

New hotel rooms and beds are clean, rooms are too good with all wooden finish. food is good though they said they dont have the menu yet, they are yet to make one. Very close to mall road and market and far enough from the crowd. Its located high on the hills so comute is dificult for old people and ladies. And the stairs to reach ther is not clean as well, all garbage on and around. First 2 floors are for gust and above that it seems its occupied by the local people who stay there. I wouldn't say location wise its great. I stayed here for 2 days, before booking i had come here to see the rooms i was shown ther best room. While checkin i was given smaller room with gabage view from window and was told that nobother rooms are available. After speaking to oyo the room was changed, i had great stay.

it was a good experience with hotel, but few drawbacks. 1) Room price is little high (2500 / day) 2) Location of the hotel is not comfortable. 3) Food quality is not upto the mark. One good point that they have accommodation for the driver as well if you have driver with you.

Service was very very bad While checkout we got late about 30 mins they told us to give half the price of that room cost. They have added useless charges. Food is not good don't eat there
