Pathetic experience. Will not recommend tanglewood villa for family stay. No water supply , no power backup , not even good service. The same staff guy doing the hotel cleaning and managing room service which was not tolerable at all. Not choose the place again for stay neither for my family nor fir my known ones again in future

Our stay was average! Service and co-operation was good! Also, I agree with one of the reviews posted above, that the food is not upto the mark and if you reach a little late (by 10 pm/am) then they say this is what is left for dinner /breakfast! However, on complaining about the same we did not face the same issue for the next 2 days. Needs improvement in terms of food!

We recently stayed at Hotel Tanglewood Villa in Manali with family and friends, and the experience was a mix of highs and lows. The hotel is tucked away in a peaceful area, but getting there was a challenge due to the narrow road and cramped parking space. For our senior citizen parents, getting in and out of vehicles in such tight spaces was tough. Despite booking three days in advance and informing the hotel about their mobility issues, we were given rooms on the first and third floors with no elevator, which made things even harder. The rooms were spacious and could comfortably fit three people with an extra bed, but they lacked heaters, which had to be rented for an extra charge. In Manali’s freezing weather, this felt like an unnecessary hassle. The staff was friendly and tried their best to help. However, when we asked for fresh bedding, we were shocked to find a mattress with stains and mold. Thankfully, the staff replaced it and even gave us another room. The bathroom in one of the rooms had a wobbly toilet and a bad odor, which wasn’t great. The buffet meals were decent, but the food cooled quickly. If you want a hot meal, I’d recommend showing up a few minutes early. Overall, while the staff’s efforts were appreciated, the accessibility challenges, cleanliness issues, and rigid cancellation policy made our stay less enjoyable. Conclusion While the staff was polite, the lack of accessibility, cleanliness concerns, and rigid policies made our stay less comfortable. This hotel may suit budget travelers but is not ideal for families with senior citizens or those expecting high cleanliness and convenience.

Hotel service is fair. Water is not coming in tap. Old furniture and smell from washroom. Bedsheet are not cleaned and blanket also. It is not recommended for family stay. Good for solo. Miscommunication with hotel management and staff. Not cooperating and coordinating. Dear Rakesh ji, We have fully paid the money as decided, however you can’t fulfill the requirements. Even you have changed our Tempo traveller car with congested seat without intimation to us. It was very ridiculous.

We got stuck with this hotel because we made a reservation through a travel agency. We tried to change/upgrade, but that wasn’t allowed. This hotel is really old and the age shows. Everything is scratched up, cracked, bent. The linen is old, stained and torn, even has holes that seemed like cigarette burns, so we asked for a change of linen only to find mold on the mattress. Our toilet was wobbly, the utensils weren’t cleaned properly. Overall felt uncomfortable. The food is ok. There are two young men in the owners family with good attitude, but one other person was feisty. When we gave him some feedback that they need to improve their facilities (only one small heater in the corner of their large dining room), he said something to imply that it was our problem because we have come to a cold place for the first time from the South. He assumed we have never experienced a cold place and are just complaining about the hotel instead of accepting status quo. If you read their comments to the reviews, you can gauge their professionalism and class (or lack there of). Edit: As expected, the hotel owners have shown their attitude with their commentary. I could show them proofs of our visit to the US, UK, and other parts of Europe for our experience in cold places, but I dont want to beat the dead horse. This time I am attaching pictures of mattress to refute their claims of “you are saying wrong”.
