NillI had a terrible experience at Hotel Kenilworth of Manali branch . The staff was unfriendly and dismissive, making us feel uncomfortable from the start. The hotel seemed poorly managed, and the service was lacking in professionalism and courtesy. During my stay, I experienced unsettling occurrences that felt paranormal—disturbing noises and flickering lights added to an already unpleasant atmosphere. Additionally, I felt that safety measures, especially concerning women’s safety, were inadequate. I did not feel secure during my stay, and the lack of security presence was concerning. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially for solo female travelers. Overall, it was an unsettling experience, and I expected much better from a reputed hotel like this.

NillJust like the name of this hotel - Kenilworth 3 star hotel this is also a three star review. First of all the location is very apt when you have to consider that you have to walk uphill 1-1.5km up the Manali maal, if you are a youngster go for it but it you are travelling with middle aged people try to get a much closer hotel, the price will be a tad bit high but it will be worth it because from Kenilworth the Auto price is 100. Now the cons: which there are plenty The rooms - electric kettle not provided and rooms are not at all maintained and you will see the dirtiness after you check in, in the nooks and crannies. The room service is non-existent: The hotel landline? Doesn't work, locks in the room? Don't work. Ordering from the kitchen- most of the time they will mess up your order The staff: some of the women staff and married staff are alright but most of the staffs are dismal and abhorrent, most of them will be drunk most of the time, I have checked out 28th Dec 2024 staying 4 days, some of the staff tries to enter the room and sometimes if the door is unlocked, they peep through. ( Don't go for their glittering arguments) The staff is just vaguely apt for their job. Most of the time you will be refused service and be met with arguments like " thandi ke jaga nahao maat", "accha khana khaana he toh Piccadilly mein jao" The lights go out at 11 the corridor is haunting, although it is not something but considering if you have to get hot water which the staff provide only before 10:30, you have to get your own water in the dark dungeons and risk getting a heart attack. The taps are runny most of the time, black water seeps through a few times. Hot water is available for a select few rooms most of the room have to wait 3 hours before bathing in hot water. If you are young and don't have to consider basic amenities and in a budget you can consider this but if you are travelling with parents and older people consider opting for some other hotel. There is also some spiritual presence present in the room which I have experienced. Although being a non-believer in such things, I can't outright reject the things I have experienced like the banging of the headboard which I have experienced at 3:25 am in my trip, travelling with a group I had rejected the notion but after knowing that the adjoining room was empty my assumptions came true. Another thing which happens with my mother is that at midnight some(body/thing) touched and pulled her leg. And most of the nights were spent staying awake and only sleeping in the morning. These instances were my alone however some guest from the same tour experienced certain things. I won't add them here. The staff itself accepts that there is something errie present. This review is very fresh, consider reading them before taking a decision which may ruin your travel experience at par with the dismal traffic maintaing skills of Manali police and traffic congestion, trying opting for offbeat location don't go to locations where all the crowd is going.

Lion Roar
NillI recently went to a School Excursion to Manali (189 students and 27 teachers and 8 non teaching staff), and stayed in this hotel. Let me tell you something, this hotel is not normal, The Staff were a bit weird but not rude, the rooms were okay, and the Transportation was quite good along with the location and view. My greatest concern was that every student who went there (btw I am a student) faced Paranormal activities, It was simply terrifying, there were fingerprints on the ceiling, sound of someone running on top of our floor even though we knew who were above us and frequently contacted them as they were our classmates, they informed us about the noise as well, on the last day, the situation went to an extreme point when there was constant sounds of someone running over our ceiling, A cross sign in our bathroom wall and mental breakdown of everyone in our room along with the abnormal fluctuation of temperature and and flickering of lights. It was truly one of the most horrifying nights I have ever spent in my life.

NillI just called to ask about rooms, the person who picked up the call was too rude. What’s the benefit of coming to such a place where the staff can’t even talk politely ? Worst staff to talk
