Hotel Parbhat Palace Katra

It's one of the worst hotels I've ever visited. The room was given to us on the third floor, and there was no staff, so my husband and I had to carry luggage ourselves. There was a guy in reception who was very rude. There was no restaurant in the hotel. And staff behavior is very bad. Please don't ever go to this hotel.

We visited this hotel on May 12.Some agent of the hotel showed us the pics of the room Room looked comfortable and clean.But when we went there to check in,the desk staff was very rude and disinterested . Rooms were in shambles.Washroom had blocks of wood instead of window door . Very disappointed.Only saving point is location.It is near to market

I visited katra in November 2023 via bus from Delhi and On reaching they say you that hotel is very good and they show pictures, Please dont go on pictures worst service, worst room, No help from staff, There was no dustbin no water no soap in the room, They promised to give free pick and drop between Hotel and banganga but when we asked them to drop us there was no one at reception. I dont think they deserve any stars or rating please avoid this hotel

I wish I could give negative star rating. Most pathetic hotel I have ever visited. Room was not cleaned at all. Bed covers was very very dirty no intercom service was available in the room so I had to go to reception all the time if need any service. Ask them to change the bed cover and quilt as both were very dirty but they could not find any clean bed cover in the hotel. I again went all the way down from 2nd floor to get some towel but surprisingly they dont have any dry towel in the stock. Again and again they gave wet towel and when I asked they why you giving wet towel, he said "Itni geeli nahi hai"(It is not that wet). Ultimately I decided to change the hotel immediately after spending around 1 hour there. They did not returned the advance. Guys be careful I suggest to avoid stay in this hotel.

Rooms are spacious around 120 to 150 sq feet. Bathrooms are of good size. For cleaning the rooms, one need to repeatedly ask the management . Clean towels and bedsheets were provided me to whenever I asked them. The view from the room ( room no 122) was very beautiful . I could see the most of the mountain of Vaishno devi temple without any obstruction. Manager (Mr. Neeraj ) is friendly enough to offer me the pass (yatra parchi) along with his mobile hot-spot when the hotel wi-fi was down on multiple occasions. Hotel did offer the shuttle service from hotel to the bus stand, from which security check post (at the base of Vaishno-Devi temple) is 1 km walking distance. Hot water is available. I did not face any issue/problems with the hotel people. AC will not work during the power outage. I stayed for 7 days. My stay was comfortable as per Katra standards.I will prefer to stay at the same hotel again , provided they offer the same services to me .

I booked this hotel through mobile. It is one of the best places to stay in Katra. Although the rooms are not so great but the staff is courteous and the rooms are clean. They provide their cab services for travelling to and from ban ganga and railway station free of cost. Overall nice experience. But yes, don't eat the food there, the quality of the food is not upto the mark.

I recently went to the darshan maa vaishno devi and unfortunately chose this place to stay and found that has been my biggest mistake of the trip.|The staff has no values for their work and are totally untrained. You will find school going kids serving in the hotel as waiters nd room service. There are no dedicated sweepers in the hotel as well and their kitchen is almost closed. In a stay of 2.5 days they were only able to serve us tea and coffee and that too was of average quality. Altogether a place not recommended for family visit.

Very bad service. Got a room with so many rats. Management is very bad. No room service.Overall very bad experience.
